Says Charlize,

I asked Michael Seitzman, who wrote North Country, ‘Why don’t you write these kind of stories more; these roles for women?’ He said, ‘There isn’t the demand for it.’ It’s not necessarily Hollywood’s fault. People don’t go to see these movies. I think it’s a bigger problem. We’ve become completely fluff obsessed.

I have my vices and that includes women. Not that I have time for relationships as such, but that doesn’t mean I have to live like a monk, right? As vices go, women are right up there with my favorites. In fact, women are probably the best vice in the world.
