Reportedly, Jennifer Hudson had quite the difficult time on set because she felt jealous of the high-fashion costumes exhibited by the four leads.
Although she landed the role of Carrie Bradshaw’s personal assistant in the movie version, Hudson still felt disappointed.
She says,
I wanted to dress like them. But it was unrealistic for my character. [...]
