When Hollywood starts constantly remaking classics, you know trouble is ahead. Even though the original ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ was brilliant, producer Stephen Byrd still feels completed to make another film version.
Basically, he wants to bring the all-black cast of his current Broadway revival, which has recouped its $2.1 million capitalization cost, to the big screen, which is understandable.
