Chanel Hires Audrey Tautou’s Beautiful Face

She melted our hearts as Amelie, and now, the extremely accomplished, beautiful, and humble, actress will melt our hearts with her new smell.

Chanel announced that the French actress will be face of their classic No. 5 fragrance in 2009, following in the footsteps of the brand’s current ambassador Nicole Kidman.

Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who directed the actress in the acclaimed films Amelie and The Long Engagement, will direct the star in a short movie for the campaign, which will be as chic as Nicole Kidman’s memorable spot, but with a touch of Parisian flair.

She is perfect for the face of Chanel. Absolute perfection.
