Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s impetuous wedding might be real afterall. People reports that the singer obtained a marriage license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera.
Monique Gomez, a Bahamian attorney in Nassau who specializes in family law clarifies,
The minister would make sure [the license] goes into the registry. It’s still a valid marriage even if it’s not filed. Anywhere in the world.
The New York Post reported that the nuptials took place at Carey’s private estate off Eleuthera. Carey owns an estate on Windermere Island, which is an exclusive Bahamian island where rich people, including British royalty, vacation.
No official confirmation of the wedding is available at this time, however, Linda Cannon revealed, “He called and told us all about it.”
