Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor and Rodrigo Santoro are currently in Miami filming I Love You Phillip Morris, based on the true story of a Texan convict who fell in love with his cell mate.
The trio studied up on their roles at Edison Farrow’s Martini Tuesdays party at Halo, the gay bar off Lincoln Road. While there, they hung out at a table and drank champagne (no worries, Carrey only sipped on water).
McGregor said,
Jim’s character is a con artist and an escape artist, who escapes from prison to be with me. It’s an incredible story.
