Gossip Girl premieres tonight at 8pm on the CW and the amount of marketing that has gone into promoting the return of this show is UNBELIEVABLE. Almost every single entertainment website has devoted an ad square to the show which seems to grow in popularity every second.
I know I’ll be catching the show tonight.

I LOVE that show! A total guilty pleasure! Love it!
Was I the only one who was a little let down by the casting? In the books, Serena is described to have super model looks. The actress who plays Serena has the ‘pretty girl next door’ look going on, but I don’t think she would be asked to do a cover of Vogue, have her own perfume brand, have her picture plastered on buses or taxis or have legions of adolescent followers wherever she goes like the book Serena.
It just seems weird. In fairness, I have always been a bit troubled by Daniel Radcliffe cast as Harry Potter. Maybe I’m the one with a problem.
