A man who claims to be a former bodyguard of Lindsay Lohan has just filled a $55,000 lawsuit against her.
David Kim claims he was hired by her via “various oral and text messages” to provide personal security at a rate of $4,000 per week for 24-hour service – but never got paid.
The suit states that allegedly he accompanied Lohan to “industry events, protected her from fans and paparazzi, paid gratuities to the staff and valets at venues where the actress partied out of his own pocket and was never reimbursed.”
The lawsuit, which also names Lohan’s company Crossheart Productions as a defendant, says the actress breached an oral contract with Kim and violated a host of labor codes.
Meanwhile, like always, Lindsay’s rep denies the whole thing, telling People: “I’m not aware of that bodyguard. I’ve never even heard of that person.”
LL is worry free. She even dropped some dough at a jewelry store in Beverly Hills with her assistant on Tuesday.

Be interesting to see how “contract via text message” holds up in court. It’s very hard to believe that a supposedly professional security person would work without a signed contract. So much for professionalism, eh?
