The Oscar-winning actor died ad the age of 84 in his Beverly Hills home on Saturday. In 2002, he had been diagnosed with symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer’s disease.
Charlton Heston lived a full life however, achieving his stardom by playing larger-than-life figures including Moses, Michelangelo and Andrew Jackson.
Later in his life, he became an unapologetic gun advocate and passionate about conservative causes.

Has someone pried his gun out of his cold, dead, hand, then?
Heston had more class in his right pinky finger
than all of today’s liberal “actors”
combined.
Hollywood in 2008 is a sewer line pumping out
garbage movies, with no-talent directors and
pretty-boy “leading men”, and slutty talentless
“actresses”.
R.I.P CHUCK.
R.I.P Charlton Heston.
Why should he be apologetic about advocating one of the rights in the constitution? (the Supreme Court just ruled that it is an individual right FYI)That’s like being an ‘unapologetic free speech advocate’ as well.
Too bad you didn’t also mention that he was one of the few who marched on the front lines with MLK Jr for civil rights and took more than a few beatings for the cause.
He was 100% class and an absolute icon of cinema. Very few will ever loom larger than Mr. Heston.
