Ashlee Simpson Denied By NBC To Appear On SNL

NBC has said thanks, but no thanks to the possibility of offering Ashlee Simpson a slot on Saturday Night Live to promote her new album Bittersweet World . The 2004 lip-syncing nightmare might have been a heavy weight in the consideration process.

An insider told the NY Post that Ashlee’s father/manager, Joe Simpson, tried to get her a spot on SNL, but producers said no because she was ‘a pain’ during her last visit.

Her rep, however, claimed,

We’re not doing ‘SNL’ because they’re dark the week we are here in April and there were no other opportunities later in the year.

Riiiight.

It seems like the wanna be stars have the biggest attitude. Thanks SNL, I do not know a single person who would want to listen her noise.

I’ve always thought she was pretty (never have heard her music) but, wtf is up with that pout thing? I cannot stand when celebrities do that.

Because everybody she interacts with daily kisses her ass. She has a very big misconception that she is a star. Super Bowl Sunday said it all, that was so bad it made William Hung sound good. Go back to Texas and spread your ass cheeks, that is the only entertainment value you have.
