That is absurd! Is George Lucas aware of the amount of people that are counting down the days to the fourth installment in the highly anticipated Indiana Jones film?
Is he trying to prepare audiences for the possibility that it might suck or what?!
Lucas says,
When you do a movie like this, a sequel that’s very, very anticipated, people anticipate ultimately that it’s going to be the Second Coming. And it’s not. It’s just a movie. Just like the other movies. You probably have fond memories of the other movies. But if you went back and looked at them, they might not hold up the same way your memory holds up.

Well, i used to love those movies as a kid, and I hope the new one doesn’t suck! Not like I’m gonna run out and see it either tho, I’ll just wait till comes on OnDemand.

He really should have thought about that BEFORE he made the movie, or come to think of it, before he made the Star Wars prequels. Having said that, I hope he makes some more Star Wars sequels with the original cast. That would be awesome!
