“The Miley & Mandy Show” has a special Easter episode that the girls just put up on YouTube. In it, Miley Cyrus and backup dancer/bff Mandy Jiroux answered some questions sent in by fans.
One fan asks if they are Christians, to which Miley replies:
We love Jesus! Jesus rocks! I sing, act and dance for Jesus! Now that I think about it, I do everything for Jesus. We do YouTube videos for Jesus. We’re all about it.

No, she performs under the sponsorship of the Disney Corporation, which the National Labor Committee considers one of the world’s worst abusers of human rights once outside the protection of American labor laws. And Disney exploits some of the poorest, weakest, most desperate women and children in the world simply for a profit…to pump out Hannah Montana merchandise for the unknowing American mall rats. If Miley truly performed for Jesus she’d overturn the tables at a concert and speak out about the atrocities she helps fuel, but she never will, because the money, and her simplistic and self-serving idea of Jesus are too good to her bank account.

And try to understand the Bible, don’t just read it between big Hollywood makeovers and while you’re being driven to the next promotional event. Next time you’re on tour order a sh*tload of room service food and ship it out to the nearest homeless shelter, in every city, and with no press coverage or fanfare, and maybe then we’ll believe you.

Looks like rod and Miley need to read the bible. You don’t have to be catholic, it’s an interesting read from many angles-historical, psychological, even as a purely literary work. Apparently you missed the overturned tables line which pretty much explains it. Look up Matthew 21:12. Then there’s all those parables from Big J himself about humility, service to others, and avoiding financial excess that has fallen upon Miley’s tone deaf ears.

Based upon her actions, Miley knows nothing about the lessons Jesus tried to impart. She only hears the stories and is probably told by her managers to use it to keep up a squeeky clean image. She knows about as much about Jesus as a blue collar worker who watches Fox News and suddenly thinks he is politically or economically astute.

At 6:24 in the video, when talking about how cool Jesus is, she makes the rams head or devil’s horn sign with her left hand. SHE’S DANCING FOR THE WRONG GUY (get it?) and the video suggests that at least her subconscious may know it, but her superficial view of life and religion isn’t going to tell her any different or steer her in the right direction.

Good Lord (no pun intended), when will people turn off the damn TV and start thinking for themselves? Is anyone here even aware of the sweatshops Disney runs overseas? If Miley dances for Jesus, then why is she OK with profiting from women and children working under brutal and oppressive conditions of institutionalized slavery?
Jesus seems like a happy guy, so why wouldn’t he?
