In 2005, Lucy Liu added UNICEF Ambassador to her resume. I knew she was a cool chick when she beheaded some dude for questioning her motives in ‘Kill Bill‘, and ever since then, she makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. Here she is at the 2008 UNICEF and Esquire Nationwide campaign for‘Tap Project’ held at the Hearst Tower in NYC on Thursday. The purpose? To help UNICEF provide safe drinking water for children around the world.

Did you know that about 1 billion people have no access to safe water?

That’s good she cares, that’s a HUGE number, 1 billion, that don’t have safe water.
