The Media Circuit reports that Britney Spears has spent $2,000 having a Hebrew healing tattoo laser-removed from the nape of her neck. Brit had the letters etched back in 04, after spending time with Kabbalah fanatic Madonna.
Friends say Britney had the tattoo removed to show the world she can’t cope.

If I remember correctly, they said it had been spelled wrong anyway. If that was really the case (which, since people know Hebrew and could actually say it was spelled wrong my guess is it was), why would she want to keep it on her body? Wouldn’t you think it sucked if you spent $ for something that was going to be permanent on your body, and they got the spelling wrong? Sure, it may have taken a while to get it removed, but getting a tattoo removed is not a light thing.

the media like totally made themselves look like a bunch of retards with this report… so she decided that she doesnt like the tattoo anymore.. well good for her.. let the woman do what ever she damn pleases.. how many tats has angelina jolie gotten removed before.. the whole world isnt rambling on about how shes gotten out of order!!! Word, Amber. I totally agree. I used to love reading about Britney, but now, its really old, and she isn’t acting all crazy anymore either. They are just fishing for a story to print because Britney sells mags. Period. It is a lame attempt at it too if you ask me.

She is reporting what other outlets are saying genius! I understand you are a die-hard Britney fan, but come on! Don’t harp on someone just because they report what is others are saying.
Personally, I think that removing a tattoo shows more personal growth and “getting better” than getting one (like she did when she shaved her head last year).

She does appear to think very symbolically, based on the names of some of her past tours and even her perfumes. Perhaps she felt that when she got the tattoo things were good (at least in her own mind; I’m not convinced she was “in control” of anything in 2004) and that things went downhill after that and she ascribed it to the tattoo, like it cursed her or something.

Mind you, I’m NOT saying this story is in any way true or correct, other than that she apparently got the tattoo removed. But this kind of symbolic, magical thinking is very much associated with Bipolar Disorder.

I think it’s probably just that she got the tattoo for reasons of her own, and now has other reasons for wanting to get it removed. Whatever. It’s her neck, right?
guys guys guys…. easy there… she just isnt into kaballah anymore- shes not that kind of girl anymore either..she got it removed. but to avoid hatin jews “why would she get it removed? blah blah”…they come up with a twist to make it sound like she wasnt worthy of havinggggg it. When in reality, brit just doesnt care for it anymore- a phase of her life that she wants nothing to do with anymore. Shes been going to church..let her be. ;)

This tattoo was always funny—never been a spears fan—but I read years ago that this tat was supposed to say “unique” but the tatooist/brit didn’t really research well and it said “strange” instead…so funny
Ok, she does not think that deep to have a tatoo removed because she is trying to tell the world she can’t cope! I love when mags fish for stories! They always come out soooo funny! She prob had it removed because she doesn’t study/practice Kabbalah (sorry for the spelling) anymore. Oooohhhh, that was hard to figure out! And I liked the tat, very cute, she should have kept it.
I do think there was a reason why Britney got it removed, there is honestly more to her than people realize, but I don’t think it has anything about being in control or not, and I REALLY don’t think she cares about being a hypocrite she doesn’t think that way. But there is a reason for it…hmm

yayaya…. so now the whoel world will analyse why she got it removed? well it could simply that she no longer wants it or kaballah? of simply that she if finally doing her own thing. probably she’s in control finally? lol i mean really if anything i remember from the while kaballah incident is that (1) madge went full throttle to make Brit a part (2)and when Brit finally decided to let go of the belief, madge withdrew from her ‘friendship’ with spears reasons given that Madge was hurt by the time and efforts she put into spears getting hooked…i mean come on… was that the basis of her their friendship… after all the spiritual growth madge whores out wouldnt one expect more? and what does one get? webmasters at Madonna’a official website taking pot shots at britney. i mean come on, to think all that would land up on her official website without her knowledge or permission doesnt sit well with her CONTROL FREAK image.
