his music may not be edgy, but he’s not exactly the most straight laced guy out there. His music may be mellow, but the point of the award is he does what he wants without people caring, which he’s done plenty of times

He’s a pretty good artist - anndd Carmen Electra - who has done WHAT with her career by the way? is…bangin!
I find him less “fun and fearless” and more “creepy”.

Back in 2001-ish, I had went to a Train show and this guy came out (that no one knew and didnt know he would be there) and played his guitar for about 45 minutes before Train came out. Being on the front row, I took a picture just for the hell of it, and it turned out that it was John Mayer. Pretty cool guy.
actually I think it was 2000…brain fart and that was a long time ago. lol
I adore John Mayer and his music. Love him, even if he is kinda boring like C said.
ps: did anyone notice that 1/2 the “fun fearless” guys were Jessica Simpson’s boys? Mayer, Dane Cook, Tony Romo… is that a new requirement?
