Whenever given the chance to get paid for being nude, you can bet your bottom dollar that Lindsay Lohan will be the. Therefore, it is no shock that she took it all off to recreate a classic Marilyn Monroe photo shoot in the latest issue of New York magazine.
Oh, and here’s the odd part: This iconic shoot from 1962, called The Last Sitting, was done only six weeks prior to her drug overdose death. The pictures were taken by famed photographer Bert Stern.
LL said of the nudity,
I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.
On the Monroe photos,
Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.

Is it just me or does her face look kind of busted in this picture? Marilyn Monroe was a goddess. The difference between these two shots is dramatic. I respect the photographer, but there’s something huge missing in Lindsay’s versions.
It would be so much braver for her to have turned him( the photographer) down. There is no need to recreate the photos, Marilyn does it better.
I’ve seen the photos and Lindsay is dead in the eyes, no feeling there at all, just posing… Marilyn was awesome, her photos were so dramatic. LL is no Monroe
