Jane Fonda Drops C Word

And by c word, I mean c*nt. I can’t even type it! That’s how much I hate that word. While on the ‘Today Show’ this morning, Jane Fonda was with Eve Ensler, writer and creator of ‘The Vagina Monologues”, and one of the pieces in the show is called “Cunt”, so that is what Jane was referring to. Regardless, a bit too vulgar and shocking to swallow, especially during morning coffee time.

According to TMZ, a rep for the show says that,

It’s a news show. There is no tape delay, and there won’t be a tape delay.

They have tried to reach the FCC to find out if NBC will be penalizing or required to use a tape delay because of Ms. Fonda’s slip, but so far, nothing.

I agree with you, I hate that word so bad that I won’t even type it! I have quite the foul mouth but I can’t say whether I’ve ever said that one out loud. But I have to admit, I lol’ed when I watched the clip!

Oh c’mon. Big deal. It’s a word, and yes it has negative connatations, but if people actually thought about it, the whole point of the play is emanciaption of women and a new look at the female in contemporary society. Its meant to free women from the social constraints, such as the negative connatations of such female based words as cunt. If she said cock, dick, anything word similar to that and it was the name of a piece of drama, people wouldn’t bat an eye lid. It’s not as if she went calling someone a cunt, she is literally discussing a piece of drama with that name. If it’s such a big deal, why were they discussing the piece of drama with the said “disgusting” word in the first place. P-C has gone so over board. Get over it. If people are so willing to turn on the news in the morning and watch bombs, genecide, famine, disease, rape etc while drinking their morning coffee, I think they can handle a respected public figure dicussing a play titled Cunt.

I agree with you whole heartedly about PC…people need to get over it, get over themselves, stop being so sensitive and move the fuck on!! People who have a problem with the word ARE cunts… No, it’s not a nice word, but neither is pussy…neither is bush…neither is vagina for that matter…they’re all gross!! It’s a gross looking body part to boot…but 50% of society has one…so get over it and move on and quit being a baby…
.
THAT’S WHAT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT!!!

Well I don’t think the vagina is a gross looking body part, in fact I believe that it a piece of beauty. But to hear the word CUNT in public is a total off the wall and a nasty tasteless word. Now we have this “bitch Jane” saying the “C” word alound on public television, we do have some small kids at home in the mornings, how do we explain that the nasty word said by another woman is not “OKAY” to be repeated, hello, kids do repeat in their learning stages.
I think Ms Jane should be barred from television for her raiming natural life and her life in hell for that matter

I agree with you Ben. Is this really worth reporting? It’s a play, a wonderful one at that. You can’t expect that everyone is going to sensor themselves over something that is in a play. Seriously though, the world curses and screams freedom of speech but the FCC wants us to watch what we say, really? Bite me! If I want to say the cunt I am going to say it. Fonda didn’t mean anything nasty by it so there is no reason to sensor it.

I agree with you completely. We give the negative power to such words by making them a big deal anyway. Come on, everyone needs to grow up a little and stop blowing such things out of proportion. We have much worse problems in this country than to give time to this.

The Today Show has been around for how many years no? And they couldn’t figure out that if they invited someone who’s work involves certin words that may be considered vulgar that they word might slip out? They have no one to blame but their selves.

Yawn. Who cares? People who make a big deal about stuff like that should pick-up a new hobby like line dancing or Marie Osmond HSN doll collecting.

So the image conjured up by the
“Vagina Monologues” - yer OK with that
but this word spoils your coffee…

Well, don’t slit your wrists - the sun will
still come up tomorrow - and your tax dollars will
still murder , maim and destroy innocent lifes
all over this planet;
corporate shills will still pose ase “one of us”
lying their way to the most powerful positions in
the world and your currency will still be a
worthless instrument of debt, which is on the verge of total collapse - none of which will be mentioned during your morning coffee warm-and-fuzzy time. - Jane spoiled exactly nothing, Princess.

On second thought, go ahead and slit your wrists.

Here in Amherst, Massachusetts our HIGH SCHOOL is going to perform ‘The Vagina Monologues’ tomorrow night. And No, School officials are not going to issue an apology for allowing a teenager to scream the C-word in public. Yes, this is the same High School that in 1999 became the only entity in history to ban a production of ‘West Side Story’. Now you know why I call my Blog “Only in Amherst!”

I LOVE this word! The feminazi’s (the real one’s) have tried to “take it back” and make it “empowering” and they just keep getting slapped down over it. There’s even a counter culture women’s catalogue that sells a coloring book for LITTLE GIRLS called “The CUNT book!”
I personally DON’T use this word except to describe someone I TRULY loathe; be it a man or a woman!
What all the Modern American Women who hate this word don’t realize, is that in the rest of the English speaking world; it’s not considered particularly offensive! Men and women use it all the time on television in England, Australia and New Zealand, and people just laugh at the the SILLINESS of using vulgar words! But here in America where we think we’re so evolved; people can actually be arrested for using the word in public!
My mother in law’s favorite actress WAS Cate Blanchette until she was on “Inside the Actor’s Studio” and admitted that her favorite curse word is CUNT! Now my M.I.L. won’t even watch any of her movies because “She’s vulgar!”
Hah ha ha! My Mother in law is such a silly old cunt!!

Nearly everything Jane does is an embarrassment either to herself, those around her, or the American people. Look at her treasonous actions in Viet Nam, giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and what about the list of names she gave to the North Vietnamese military prior to her departure of POW’s wanting to send out messages to their families? Yeah, with that one, she got POW’s killed and tortured.

The BITCH gets everything she deserves, whether it is a punch in the mouth, FCC fine, or executed for the treasonous bitch she is.
