Umm…okay? Jessica Alba is pretty like a flower, and then opens her mouth you realize she’s poisonous. Her team of people should really teach her what to say and what not to say. I’m sure we all recall Jess’s comment last year on how she considers herself American, not Latina.
Well, now that she’s on the March cover of Latina Magazine, it seems that she’s had a change of heart, saying that she hopes the baby inherits her ethnic looks,

That’s always been my problem with her. Her comments.
One minute it’s how she’s so confident and loves her body and sexuality. The next it’s how she wants to be taken seriously as an actress.
And she always pulls the latina card when it suits her. Like when she wants to try to sound like she had a hard childhood and says how she was made fun of for being different. Please. Everyone knows she was always pretty and no one cared.
She does have a little ethnicity, but not enough for school children to care. Honestly until she started talking about it all the time I thought she was just a tanned white girl.
And is she saying there’s something wrong with being pale?
Jessica Alba’s from Texas. Where in Texas did she get made fun of for being Latina? Please…whites are almost a minority in that state. If she got made fun of it wasn’t because of her ethnicity.
I can’t help but think this comment is a little shallow. Is she going to be upset if the baby is white? And I agree with heather, until recently I always thought she was just a tan white girl…and I never knew Cameron Diaz was latina either,lol.

I’ve always thought that Jessica was a mix of white and Black (MULATA)a person of mixed white and black ancestry, It never crossed my mind that she is a tan white girl… LOL.. She doesn’t look like Halle Berry and Lonette Mckee who are true ‘mulatas’. Those women are beautiful. Jessica looks latina. Eva Mendez is obviously a mix of spaniard and black, aka ‘latina’ but not of the native Mexican variety. And Salma Hayek looks Middle Eastern and, as not so much a coincidence, her dad is an Arab.

Ok, you can be a black, white, mullato, mezito or amerindian Latina! Latina is not a race! So Cameran Diaz is a white Latina, Jessica Alba looks kind of mixed but so what if she considers herself American! She was born in the USA. Everybody is an immigrant to the USA somewhere down the line so technically when a white American of German, Italian, English, Irish, Spainih or Portuguese decent considers themselves American are they also ashamed of their race? Get off her clit-she probably never meant it in a offensive way! She can be proud of being a Latina and an American!
What is this obsession with with skin color/ethnicity, and why does it matter? As far as Jessie’s “ethnicity” is concerned, she IS American, as so is everyone who was born and raised in this country, and participates in American culture, regardless of whether their ancestors spoke a language other than English.
If you have nothing better to do than squabble over an attractive, overrated actress not wanting to identify with a certain culture because it doesn’t lend it credibility (in your warped opinion), then I recommend turning off the TV/computer and involving yourself in more important affairs.
She should be proud she is American because this is the country that made her famous and rich! White people are a minority in the world and every country they live in is over taken with other darker races. Why is that? The white countries like all of Europe and America are the most prosperous sought after countries in the world!

I think jessica alba needs to sit her confused self down somewhere .. I remember years ago when she played on this show years and years ago called flipper and someone was interviewing her and asked her what is her ethnicity because she has a different look and I remember her saying she was black, native American, Mexican !!! Now that’s she’s made a name for herself she’s now saying she white, Mexican, bs!!! In a recent article she said when she was little she would grab awhole of different random black men’’s leg she felt resembled her and ask them ” are you my daddy?if she’s not suppose to be ” black” why in the hell would she say that ?
