Are You Afraid of the Dark?

While promoting her new thriller The Eye, Jessica Alba apparently ran out of things to say to hype up people about the movie. So now, she’s using a personal scary story of an encounter with a REAL GHOST when she was a kid to get people talking.

I felt this pressure and I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t scream, I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t do anything. Something took the covers off me and I definitely couldn’t get off the bed, and once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents’ room.

Not denying the existence of spirits or anything…I think that we are not the only life on Earth, but that’s besides the point. Just feels like a cheap shot from the lovely Miss Alba.

Hmmm…that plot sounds quite familiar.

She’s promoting her movie, but she has nothing to say about it? Well no wonder she can’t get people to go see them if they are that boring and disinteresting to her! And maybe that’s why she’s such a bad actress if she does not take the time to research and ponder the issues that her chracter may be based around. The last time a celeb had trouble sticking to the movie instead of talking about personal issues (Tom Cruise) there was a huge spat with the director. This is just one more reason for people not to hire her in the future. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she’s really proving herself to be a moron.

So, since she made a movie about ghosts, she can’t POSSIBLY have ever had an experience with them? I experienced something very similar to what she describes a couple years ago, so I don’t really see much reason to doubt her.

It sounds like sleep paralysis, not a visit from a spirit. And the covers getting moved off her her could have been herself as she moved while she was dreaming. Not denying ghosts, but many situations are actually explainable phenomena that have nothing to do with ghosts.

I do believe that supranatural does exist…This is the several times I heard about someone got supranatural experience after involved in horor movie making. I think the solution is praying and trust to God.
