TMZ reports that Eva Mendes has entered rehab at Cirque Lodge, in Utah, the same place Lindsay Lohan was treated. The Lodge is apparently one of the most respected treatment facilities in the country.
Eva has been at there for several weeks now due to a substance abuse problem. When TMZ contacted her rep, no calls were return for a comment.

It was a bit shocking but I’m glad she seeked help now without having something drastic happen. That is a pretty good sign since it seems she wasn’t forced to do it.

I LOVE Eva, she is my fav. This is shocking. I said it after Heath Ledger’s death, drug addicts don’t wear uniforms you can spot from a mile away, they all don’t look like Amy Winehouse or Pete Dohrety. Best of luck to you Eva.

exactly… could be anything…alcohol…illegal narcotics….maybe perscriptions drugs… We don’t know, and with Eva, we may never…and that’s ok! She’s not flaunting it all for the whole world to see and know about, and I doubt she will.
Oh definitely. I always think that drinking has become “too acceptable”. I’m always hearing people brag about getting drunk and what not.
People forget that it is possible to catch an addiction in its early stages before the person’s body begins to deteriate. Her prognosis should be better than someone like Whino who waits till they are a walking corpse to seek treatment, if they even seek it then.
People forget often that these people are human. We act as if they are perfect and they are far from it. We really have no CLUE at what is happening in their private lives
This is true for most people in Hollywood. Eva definately falls into this category. She seems very private…I don’t know a whole lot about her other than she’s insanely beautiful and makes decent movies as far as I can tell, and she’s not on the covers of all the mags every week. Yes, she gets the occasional cover, but they are always respectable magazines. Hopefully she’ll comeback stronger than ever and kick ass where ever she goes from this point forward!

i wish i was a heroin addict or alcoholic; all the cool and/or good-looking people go to rehab. rehab is the cool place to be.
