We’ve all it coming for months…and now the unfortunately predictable has happened. ToB has learned that there are chopper and cops outside of Britney Spears’ home in Beverly Hills. The reason? About 20 minutes ago, at 10:45 PM, Britney, tried to commit suicide inside her Beverly Hills home.
X17 reports her mom, Lynne, is on her way to Brit’s home where Sam Lutfi awaits inside.

Incredibly heart-breaking that it’s actually had to reach this point, but hopefully now Britney can be committed into a mental facility FOR REAL and get better. My heart goes out to our fallen pop princess and her family…
UPDATE: 11:48 PMAn ambulance is on it’s way to Brit’s place and should be arriving soon. Also, 2 more choppers and 3 new vans have also arrived on the scene…plus 50 more paparazzi. Should be quite the circus.
UPDATE: 12:38 AM TMZ has just confirmed that the cops are indeed outside of Britney’s home but they state to not know why. X17 reports that Alli is on her way to Brit’s as well. Still no sign of the ambulance.

UPDATE: 12:45 AM: TMZ reports that Britney’s psychiatrist visited her tonight. “Brit has been under the daily care of a shrink who is giving her medicine for a bipolar disorder. The shrink was alarmed at her reckless driving and her conduct and has decided Brit needs to be hospitalized on another 5150 hold, meaning she is a danger to herself and others.
Also, they state the X17 is wrong (nothing new there) and that she has not tried to kill herself.
They go on to say that Lynne, who is inside Brit’s house, is upset with the shrink and that Sam is all for the 5150, given Britney’s mental state.
They describe Britney as “non-responsive about the whole thing — out of it.”
UPDATE: 12:58 AM Cops are currently inside Britney’s house.
UPDATE: 1:02 AM Ambulance has finally arrived.
UPDATE: 1:21 AM The reports that Britney attempted suicide are FALSE. Law enforcement sources tells TMZ that the shrink who called cops did not mention ANYTHING about a suicide, only her reckless driving and erratic behavior.
UPDATE: 1:43 AM Three hours after the cops arrived at Britney’s, she is finally in an ambulance and on her way to an UCLA Medical Center. Upon arrival, she will be placed on a 5150 hold, her second this month. The hold basically means that she poses a danger to herself and others.

Reports are saying that Unfitney did NOT try suicide and that what happened last night was planned.
TMZ has learned the plan to get Britney into UCLA Medical Center had been hatched for days — it was aborted last night, but executed just minutes ago. And we’re told the plan was so intricate the FAA had cleared airspace in route to the hospital.
Back at her house, Britney’s psychiatrist told her she was going to the hospital. Her response was, “Is something wrong?” She was not resistant. She made hot chocolate and waited before paramedics arrived and placed her on a gurney.
We’re told the psychiatrist felt her condition had deteriorated. Britney had not slept since Saturday — a day and half longer than she stayed up in recent memory.
The reason she’s at UCLA is her new treating psychiatrist practices out of that medical center.
We’re told during her initial 72-hour stay she cannot be forced to take medication against her will. If, however, she refuses to take meds, the plan is for the the psych to go to court and have Britney held for an additional 14 days, during which time he can administer proper medications.
And get this ironic twist — Lynne Spears and Adnan drove to the Medical Center in the same car. A source tells us when Lynne found out Britney was being committed, she blamed it on Sam and was extremely agitated. When Brit heard that, she screamed to her mother, “Shut the hell up.”

Oh….maybe that’s why they took her to the pharmacy at like 1am the night before, because maybe her parents were going to take her to the hospital instead, but Sam and papz were there or something. I thought that sounded odd that her parents would escort her to the pharmacy instead of locking her in the house, or one parent going for her. Not like her house shouldn’t be fully stocked with the number of visits and purchases she’s made at pharmacies this month alone.
“Finally” doesn’t mean it was waited upon with excitement or good anticipation. It simply means it was expected as pretty much inevitable, which would have been a good assumption given her insanely destructive behavior. Read a fucking book, some of you.
