I agree 100% with Amanda. The headline does not fit this article. And Yes, stop speculating.

Dr. Drew believes that the drug interaction is the most clear explanation. He comes to this conclusion due to all the medication the police found in his home, which consisted of: Ambien, Xanax, Valium, and two drugs from Europe for sleep called Zoplicone and Donormul.
*
I am the only one to get pissed off about this? How the hell does HE know?????? I just can't believe there is sooooo much specutlation. Why don't they just fucking wait until the results come in? It is isulting to him and his family to speculate. Let him rest in peace, and just fucking wait a few damn days to get the toxicology results back!

You really need to change the headline of this article. NOT ACCIDENTAL and NOT NATURAL CAUSES are two very different things. "Not accidental" infers suicide or foul play, and it doesn't sound like either of those are the case here.

It's sad. It's definitely also likely that it was just a huge mistake. He was exhausted, and was just trying to get some relief, it seems. Not a doctor here, but everyone close to him says he wasn't suicidal, and that he was a loving father to his daughter. Tragic.

In a healthy person the combo of these drugs is deadly. So if Heath's body was weakened by the pnumonia, then it's no surprise that they could have over run his system. And given his apparent nevous condition, he may have not relaized how much of the drug he took. His doctors should have been more respsonible than to allow him to have so much of the drug in his system. But in America it is permissable for doctors to over subscribe, especially to the rich, and in America it is easy for people, especially the rich, to gain several prescriptions from different doctors who have no knowledge of each other and can not legally communicate about a patient's medical history.
