‘No Country For Old Men’ leads the race with 8 nominations, followed by ‘Atonement’ and ‘Michael Clayton’ with 7. The biggest surprise, and the one I’m rooting for, is ‘Juno’. It got nominated for Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Ellen Page received the Best Actress nod as we all knew she would.
So excited! Let’s just hope the strike is over by February 24th so that the Academy Awards don’t get canceled. Would be SUCH a shame with all the phenomenal films runnnig this year.
