In the latest issue of V Magazine, Demi Moore pretends to be a shrink and discusses in-depth the troubled pop star’s problems.
“No one has seen it worse than Britney Spear. How can anyone see that and think that’s an OK way to expect anybody to live, no matter where they’re at in their life?”
On her average day:
“My normal day is, I get up with the kids, take them to school, a few days a week I might do Pilates, reading, meetings, and then we always do family dinner at 6:30.”
On how she, her ex-husband Bruce Willis and her current husband, Ashton Kutcher, make their extended family work:
“It wasn’t a piece of cake. It wasn’t automatic or easy. It took diligence and effort and even enduring awkwardness, and a lot of general giving on my part and Bruce’s part. And really, tremendously, on Ashton’s part. Coming into my life, Ashton just wasn’t meeting somebody that had baggage. You know, I had trunks!”
On staying on good terms with Bruce:
“It’s far more exhausting to be angry and blaming. You can dig deep within yourself and really have a desire for someone else’s happiness, which I feel I do have for Bruce and he has for me. He has a joy and appreciation for what Ashton and I share, and for how Ashton is with the girls.”

Celebrities often ahve a superstition about speaking out against other celebs, for on thing you risk it becoming a huge publicized mess like with Rosie and Trump last year. For another, you risk pissing off your fans that also like that person, and risk making yourself look like a diva or bully, and not to mention that in the back of their minds all the stars are worried about what the other stars will say about them should they ever have a bad day. Demi probably can’t say anything bad about Britney because Brit and Ashton used to be buddy/buddy.
Demi also does not know her hollywood history. The throngs of papz that sorround Britney aren’t even one fourth the sozer of the throngs of screaming fans who used to folllow and camp out in front of Elvis’s house. And that’s only one example, there are more. Britney’s only going through what she is now because she encourages it.
i strongly doubt that people are being supportive of britney because they’re superstitious. you have to think about what your m.o. is in it. are you bashing her because it’s fun or because it makes a difference or because you can feel superior? there’s not much point in kicking someone who’s already down, so hopefully that’s where a lot of people are coming from. as for britney asking for it, that sounds like what rape victims get told- that they’re asking for it. in that case, jessica alba, angelina jolie (who has always talked about her personal life extensively in the media), george clooney, amy winehouse, and any number of celebrities ask for it.
That’s why they aren’t speaking about her publically. Privatley, they’ve each had to work their way up and I’m sure the more talented and mature stars are disgusted by Britney’s antics.
I never said Britney asked for it, I only said she chooses to live this life day in and day out. She chooses to sleep with the papz and tell them where she is going to be. She is not the only celeb who has been hounded. Notice that it is only the papz hounding her and not genuine fans. She doesn’t have the fans to hound her the way that Elvis did. Every celeb has to deal with this on some level, and Britney by no means has the worst. And what she does have she encourage and exploits because she doesn’t know who she is when the papz aren’t taking pcitures of her.
I doubt that Britney is currently able to evaluate anything- I believe that she is so unstable that what she does is making sense to her with it’s twisted logic. I thought quite somt time ago that she was turning into Michael Jackson.
