Then you are sadly ignoarant. Look up the lyrics to her song “Mona Lisa.” Watch her video of Everytime and Justin’s vide of What Goes around for a little he said/she said action. The one thing that is eerily the same in both videos in the drowning scene. We have seen for years self-destructive behaviour from this woman, and we have heard from several of her close peeps that she does at least threaten suicide when she does not get her way. And the symptoms point to mental illnesses that often result in accidental or purposeful completed suicide.
Correction: being on the medical “watch” or lockdown or whatever means they EITHER overdosed or are at RISK for suicide. According to reports she has done neither but is at risk for attempting. Your wording currently states she is on lockdown because she either overdosed or attempted suicide…she hasn’t yet anyway…at least not recently!

It’s also possible that this is like jail. A celeb will be placed in a special unit, apart from the general population. Perhaps Cedars Sinai uses that “special needs” term, because of her level of fame? Keep her apart from the other crazies, for lack of a better word. My brother has been in a similar lockdown and while he had his own room, there was also a large, common area for them to move about in and this was from day 1. I’m sure that Britney has no desire to mingle with the common crazies, so maybe they placed her under “special needs”. Apparently, she didn’t OD and it’s anyone’s guess if she’s actually made suicide threats. So, who really knows. Just throwing this out there.
correction: your blog says she is on medical lockdown because she either overdosed or attempted suicide which is not technically correct. Patients are required to be on medical watch if they EITHER overdosed or if they are at RISK for suicide. She has done neither at least within the last 48 hours according to reports from the hospital. Whether or not she tries is another question.
This is also where the police would have taken her had she made suicide threats in front of them.

Well, is anyone surprised that Kevin’s been given full custody and Britney’s had her visitation suspended? It’s the only responsible thing for the court to do in this case.
I doubt very much that Britney will be well enough within ten days to be considered fit to have visitation. A breakdown of this magnitude is not something from which anyone “bounces back”. She’ll probably still be in the psych ward ten days from now, or at least under some sort of supervised care. She certainly won’t be in any position to visit the children. The last thing they need is to have to deal with crazy mommy.
She almost certainly won’t get visitation back until she can show the court evidence that she is mentally stable and undergoing appropriate treatment.
She’ll probably never get any degree of custody back, or at least, not for many, many years, and it will only be partial if she does.
I support this statement. It’s going to be a long time before she even has supervised visitation and it will probably be at a 3rd party location (not at her home or Kevin’s) and heavily monitored and short. No more 9 hour or overnight visits. She will have to prove to the court that she is mentally and emotionally stable enough to care for them and this can take years. She has to prove that she can take care of herself first. She has a lot of hurdles to jump over now, massive therapy and lots of meds and it will most likely be suggested strongly that she put her career on hold while she takes care of herself.

Kevin may bring them to visit her at the hospital, if he thinks she’s stable enough and her doctors feel it won’t be harmful to her or the children. He brought them to see her when she was in rehab, after all. At this point, though, it may not be in their or her best interests.

The term “visitation rights” means that when they’re visiting her, Britney is in charge of them, looking after them, etc, and she’s the responsible party while they’re together (which is clearly not something she’s at all capable of now or for the forseeable future). It doesn’t mean she’s not allowed to see them under any circumstances, it means she’s not allowed to have them in her care. Removal of court ordered visitation is not the same thing as a restraining order to keep her away from them entirely.

Actually, he may not have a choice in the matter right now. Hospitals have strict rules about who may visit a patient and when, and mental hospitals restrict patients from seeing even family members…and right now the court has ruled that she is a danger to the children and should not be near them. People want to blame Kfed, but it’s just not that simple.
The hospital environment would only frighten the children at this age. Seeing them right now will not help her. Espeically since we can not trust her not to grab a child and run away or lock herself up with the child. She needs to separated from them and away from her enablers and her celeb lifestyle long enough for them to get through to her.

I’m not even sure what the above post is supposed to mean. Bipolar, when not treated effectively, can lead to suicide. Depression goes hand and hand with bi-polar, if it didn’t then it would be uni-polar, and there is currently believed to be no such thing as uni-polar manic. There is uni-polar depression which means they go from normal to sever depression. But bi-polar means from ultra-high (manic) to ultra-low (depression). Substance abuse is often comorbid with major depression and bipolar due to self-medication.
For Britney it looks like possible bipolar and major depressive diorder as a primary daignosis, with histrionic, addictive, and borderline personalities as secondary disorders, along with substance use/abuse if not actual addiction, and disordered eating (bulimia, or anorexia bulemia) further complicated by stress, inadequate sleeping patterns, and a lifetime of abuse and entitlement.
You can’t give an actual diagnosis without actually treating the person of course, and the reason it is hard to diagnose from afar is because her peeps have lied to the public for so long, and because these things both overlap, and cross over between which disorder is more prevalent of the moment….and also because she definetly is comorbid, meaning she has more than one mental illness. That makes her harder to treat by anyone who does treat her.

Wow,I think that keeping her in the hospital is the best way to get her to deal with her own mental illness. so now we all know…she isn’t an alcoholic…she isn’t a drug addict…..she has serious MENTAL ISSUES. i think that she is in the right place at this time. finally the paparazzi can move on. they are going to keep her in there for 14 days so that she can get it together. we won’t see one britney spears picture other than the ones they continue to flash all over creation. i am so excited that britney can now deal with her issues. like ruben said earlier though, i think it will get much worse before it can even get better. when you come out and your family is not by your side…..other than her dad….who appears from nowhere sometimes…..she will realize that she has to do this by herself and want to get better to get her sons back. she caused this 90% all by herself. This was only an initial treatment for the incidents of the other night. For her further treatment she did need to leave and move into an actual mental hospital, and hopefully one that is out of LA and kept secret from her enablers and the papz, and those who are both.
