This is like a story that could be taken out of the Anna Nicole chronicles. We all saw this coming, and I think I’m probably right when I say, this isn’t even near how bad it will eventually get.
Nobody knows the psychological torture that Kevin Federline is putting Britney through, as all we see is Britney’s demented and dysfunctional way of trying to live her life. I truly think that people eventually get what they deserve and that Karma is always a huge factor at the end of the day.
Britney has deliberately destroyed the lives of too many good people, and she knows it - and what she’s realizing, little by little, shave by shave, gurney by gurney is that she’s not the invincible person she always thought she was. Look at the poor girl, she’s pathetic, had it all, could have changed it all for the better but NOBODY felt like looking out for her best interests, EVER.
The girl surrounded herself with anyone BUT her family, only people like Allie and Sam who at the end of the day, had their own agenda, and served as nothing but enablers in the grand scheme of things.
Britney is at the hospital, pending a mental evaluation, on lockdown and on “suicide watch”. I knew this was going to happen, I even called it, a few months ago. It is nothing new, this is the shit that we’ve seen happening to teenage stars in the last 25 years……yet, nobody has been as well documented as Britney.
She is so detached from her family, she has absolutely nobody left, literally, but her kids, and now, she won’t even have that anymore.

I have said for months now that Britney is not addicted to the drugs K-Fed claimed (cocaine and meth) And now after passing all random court ordered drug tests she has just been found clean of all drug and alcohol at the hospital. Brit may have post partum stress from the 2 babies so close together. K-Fed has done nothing but try to drive her nuts.
When the mother of 5 killed her kids in the bath tub in Texas, many people wanted the husband tried in court but in his case he had taken the wife to many doctors and psychiatrists. It was not his fault as he had done everything he could have done. BUT in the case of K-Fed …he has done everything he can think of to help push Britney over the edge and get himself more of her money. The court should give those kids to Britney’s Mother untill Britney is well again.

I am not sure why I even bother writing on these things but the utter lack of education regarding mental health is staggering. People really have no clue. Mental illness is not a choice - sure you can do things to exacerbate situations through self medication and poor judgment - but let’s be frank her actions are those of someone who is suffering some sort of psychiatric breakdown. Hey, I dont know if this helps or not but I recently found out that they won’t give you medication to take on your own will if you seem like a risk for OD-ing on the medication they give you. If a phsychiatrist evaluates her and puts her down as a risk of harming herself, they won’t giver her pills. Maybe having her come in and watch her take the pill, like at a methodone clinic, but i dont know if they do that or not. *shurggs*
Mental illness explains the behavior. It doesn’t excuse it. I work with people who have all different kinds of mental diagnoses. If I were to allow them to self destruct because they are ill I would be nothing but an enabler. She has the capacity to know right from wrong. She has the capacity to make decisions and seek out help. She chooses this tragic road. She has been putting her kids in jeapordy long enough, I don’t feel bad for her at all, it never had to come to this. It’s the kids I feel for.
What one person thinks is right and what another does are two completely different things in an IDEAL world - when you add a dose of psychosis right and wrong are blurred (understatement). She has lost sight of reality - it’s called a chemical imbalance.
When someone has a brain tumor you don’t see legions of people throwing stones at them when they act inappropriately towards the end. They are medicated, hospitalized and their friends and family mourn the loss of a loved one.
I don’t know what sort of facility you are working in but there are degrees of illness. Not everyone has the capacity to make decisions for themselves -that’s why they have competency hearings).
Some people need the state and family to step in. She appears to be one of those people. Tough love doesn’t work when you are living in a different universe. Meds can help her - but she may have to be forced to get help.

I’ve been hearing from a reliable source for almost a year now that some of Britney Spears’ family members believe she has bipolar disorder. They don’t think it’s drugs. They don’t feel she has a drinking problem.
In plain and simple language, they believe the former pop princess has a mental illness.
If, in fact, Ms. Spears has a bipolar illness, isn’t it time for the haters to back off? I’m talking about those who post comments on blogs that go so far as to wish her dead.
Making fun of Spears for a bad song, a poor performance or maybe even a not-so-in-shape body, I can handle. But the venom that’s been spewed in the last 24 hours alone is unreal.
Why so much hate? My armchair theory is, it’s jealousy. No one is jealous of her downfall, but surely they may be envious of all she’s achieved in her very young life. She wasn’t even an adult when she became one of the world’s biggest pop sensations. And she got very, very rich along the way.

“The symptoms of bipolar disorder are basically extreme highs and lows,” says Los Angeles-based psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser. “It’s a very undertreated disorder. Most people end up medicating themselves with drugs or alcohol.”
I was talking to a friend earlier who said of Spears’ messy life, “She asked for it.” Would you say the same thing about someone with cancer?

Go ahead and root for her, I am rooting for her kids. Just when is it that people will find her culpable for her actions? There is nothing to be jealous of, that is purely subjective. What one see’s as success others do not. I don’t see success as lip syncing music, shaking your ass and looking pretty (at one time). I see success as helping others, being a parent (a real one), and being a responsible person all together. She is doesn’t care about anyone but herself. I just don’t see mental illness there, I just don’t see it.
How is any of this Kevin’s fault? He’s put her through psychological torture???? If I remember right, SHE’S the one who asked HIM to marry her first! He’s doing the best he can in very difficult circumstances for everyone involved. According to news reports, he went to the hospital after he had his sons safely tucked away at his house. Where is he the bad guy in all this???
I can not believe some of the comments that are left on here and I certainly can not believe the main article. Have we forgotten that this is a person/human being first and foremost. Clearly this is a person crying out for help who isn’t getting it. Yes, she is a 26 year old adult who can make her own decisions in life, and yes she is clearly making the wrong decisions. Are we all so perfect to say that we don’t make any wrong decisions on day to day basis? I know for one that I am not perfect. The difference is that my life isn’t plastered on magazines and the television and the main headline. Yes, she does bring some of this on herself, I’m not denying any of that. But who are we to say that a fellow human, who is someone’s daughter, ex-wife, mother, and friend, deserves to die and deserves this kind of life? How do we go from lifting this person on a pedestool to enjoying the downward spiral that Britney is clearly on. Yes, I am do enjoy Britney’s music and I will admit that I do get caught in the “Britneynews”, but I will admit that I am not sitting here saying that she deserves what she gets, no one deserves the pain that she is clearly going through? Who are we to say that she deserves this? I pray that she is able to get the help that she clearly needs, and is able to get her life back on track, not for my sake or the public’s sake, but for those two little boys sake, so that they may grow up and make a stable mother and enjoy the life that they deserve.
Britney’s actions may be crying for help, but you have to remember that there is only so much a person can do before you have to step up and take responsibility for yourself. Britney needs help but she clearly doesn’t want it because she has pushed away everyone who cares about her. She won’t even listen to the COURTS for crying out loud! Everything that could have helped her - rehab, AA meetings, court-appointed counseling, parenting classes - she has either fought vigorously against, ignored, or bailed out early on. I am past the point of feeling sorry for her because she isn’t accepting any of the second chances she has been given, and it is no longer about “Britney Spears” and who she is as a “person” — there are two young, innocent children involved and it’s about them now, not Britney.

You’re right, no one is perfect, but the simple mistakes we all make from day to day usually do not equate to what Britney does. Me accidentally running a red light or getting in a fight with my mother does not equal driving/speeding while texting with my children in the back seat of my car or having an actual POLICE STANDOFF because I was holding my children HOSTAGE. Not showing up for a doctor’s appointment is not the same as not showing up for a CUSTODY deposition. These are SERIOUS mistakes that Britney is making and she should be held accountable for them, because if anyone else did it then you know that they would be held accountable as well and it would be just as wrong. Yes, everyone is human, but there comes a point when you have to ask yourself when an action is excusable and when it is not. There are plenty of unstable stupid people out there who do horrible things and they are also “only human”, but that doesn’t mean they should get away with what they did.

Dude, I am not trying to rip on you, but this statement is really annoying to me: “Are we all so perfect to say that we don’t make any wrong decisions on day to day basis?”—My day-to-day basis consists of taking my son to daycare,going to work, getting off work, picking my son up from daycare and going home to make dinner and spend time with my husband and son. I hardly see anywhere in my schedule to do dumb things and make “mistakes”. Assuming that everyone fucks up on a daily basis is absurd. I havent done an idiotic thing since I was 20. It is called growing up.
