People reports that Sean Penn and wife of 11 years, Robin Wright, have split. Divorce papers were filed by both parties on separate occasions, with Sean petition on Dec. 7 and Robin’s on Dec. 21. The couple stated “irreconcilable differences” as their reason and will request joint legal and physical custody of their two teenagers, Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16.
The couple is due to appear in court on April 21st.
