Angelina Acknowledges Her Weight Loss

Angelina Jolie admits to Grazia magazine that she got too skinny this year but says she was bothered by all the negative scrutiny.

The thing that’s disturbing is that instead of people saying, ‘This looks like a person that’s actually dealing with something, probably from emotions,’ they say, ‘Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin? I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that’s trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year.

Jolie also says how Brad Pitt’s support and strength helped her get through her mother’s death,

He is just a great friend and when my mother passed, he was so great. He sat with me and held [my mother’s] hand. After she passed away he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mother and got us to tell funny stories about her. He focused on all the love and joy we were fortunate enough to have had. He was extraordinary.

But Angelina why does this shock you? You work in Hollywood where eating disorders are a dime a dozen. To not address such an issue earlier was irresponsible because people look up to her and might emuulate her every move. She needed to come out earlier and acknowedge the weight loss, and say that she was seeking help. It’s sad that she would have to make that private information public but that is the world she lives in. She could have moved the public to pray for her recovery rather than to speculate on an eating disorder. In order to succeed in life oyu have ot know how to make the best of a bad situation, and sometimes that means giving part of yourself to protect the whole.

Actually this was first brought up a few months ago. I’ve seen these exact quotes before.

Puuleeze! I am SO SICK of this woman! She lost too much weight. Who cares? She’s adopted 305 children and she likes them all much better than the one she gave birth too. She stole another woman’s husband and flaunts their great and holy love. As I recall, this is 2 other-women’s-husbands for her, is it not? Forget and coronate her for being such a wonderful person if you want to. I’ll never forget. And I bet Jennifer Anniston and Laura Dern won’t forget, either.

Laura Dern? Didn’t she end up with some other woman’s husband? I doubt she is in any condition to throw stones or call dibs on a guy that she wasn’t married to

I guess that we (as audience) will never experience again one person that’s in need (and has always been in great need) of love and affection like Angelina Jolie. I think that ev’rything she does or says etc, is based upon and comes from that lack.

I think you all have far too much time on your hands, the woman makes great movies who cares what she does in her personal life. We were all young once and we all make mistakes. I wonder how you would fare with your every move under a microscope. Oh I can just hear you all now (I didn’t choose to become famous she did and it is all part and parcel) Well I am glad she did and couldn’t care less what the paparazzi writes to make a buck. Oh and obviously Brad Pitt wasn’t happy, if he was, he would still be there and it takes two. You can’t please all of the people all of the time so you might as well please yourself. Good luck to them both and their tribe of children.

Hello, This is Mary

I am 36 years old with 2 toddlers. My youngest just started day care last week- which still feels a little strange. I haven’t had this much time to myself in years. First thing I want to do is lose the extra pounds I put on during the last pregnancy. One of the girls next door has suggested I join her walking group two days a week. After my first pregnancy I lost around 35 pounds using the Herbalife products, but when I called the man that sold them to me three years ago he told me this week he doesn’t sell them anymore. He told me to look on the internet. It’s disappointing because he was really nice and he called me regularly to make sure I was using their products correctly. It was nice to have someone checking in with me every week to see how I was and it kept me motivated.

I searched on the internet for someone that sells Herbalife in New Jersey. I found many websites but I don’t want
just to buy the products, I want to find someone trustworthy that sells the products so I can also meet them and get started again.

Could anybody here recommend someone in New Brunswick?

Thanks, Mary
