OK! Magazine has just reported that Britney Spears‘ 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn is pregnant. Just when you thought she was the only sane one who could be saved! It’s like, ya squeeze all the juice out of a rotten lemon, and a ripe one emerges!
The dude the baby belongs to is Casey Aldridge, whom she’s been dating for some time. Oh, and how ironic is this, they first met at church! LOL Jamie is keeping the baby.
TMZ reports that a six page interview is included in the issue, which hits stands tomorrow.
Nickelodeon issued the following statement this afternoon: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

I reported this story on my blog several minutes ago. I blame Britney and Jamie’s parents. It’s ridiculous that they would allow Jamie Lynn to live with her boyfriend when she is only 16 years old. Absolutely ridiculous. After seeing the two go house hunting none of us should be surprised that the girl is pregnant. No decent parent would allow that to happen.

Hi. I wasn’t blaming Britney. When I said Britney and Jamie’s parents I meant the parents of Britney and Jamie. I am only blaming the parents for allowing Britney and Jamie to go fucking wild without any supervision. If they allowed Jamie to live with her boyfriend we can begin to understand how Britney has become so insane. They probably had no controls on Britney while she was touring throughout her teens and doing who knows what on long trips away from home. Their parents absolutely disgust me. As long as they get a piece of their daughters’ paychecks they could care less what happens to the both of them.
Britney was sleeping around at this age and before, so why wouldn’t this contribute To JL’s perception that a teenager can sleep around with out consequences?

Be that as it may, the experts have agreed that children learn what they see. JL watched Britney get attention at a very young age for performing blantant sexual acts. Not only that, But JL has witnesses Bratney’s hypersexuality, since JL was a very young girl. So for JL it is very normal for a teenager to use her sexuality to get attention from men. The blunt of the responsibilty lies on LYnne, but Brat has a part of this as well.
Let us not kid ourselves. Jamie Lynn seems much more adjusted than Britney and she still lost her virginity before the age of 16. Britney Spears has been in the spotlight at a much earlier age than her sister and was away from her family on tour for a longer period of time. Does Justin Timberlake seem like a guy who’d wait very long before moving to another ho for sex? NO. None of us will know for sure but will any of us be surprised if the truth was that Britney lost her virginity if not at age 14 as U.S. Weekly reports but at least by the time she was 16 or 17 and touring across country with NSync? You put an attractive young girl on a tour bus filled with horny guys who are egotistical, famous, and rich and anything can happen. I think this is true since Nickelodeon issued a statement. I can’t believe they would go to OK! about this. That just shows you how horrible the Spears parents are. They will whore out their daughters anytime as long as they are promised fame and cash. They should have kept this girl in the house for nine months to avoid any media scrutiny or paparazzi hounding her ass all around Hollywood. But this is what the Spears want. Exploit their daughter’s mistake for a few million and the possibility that Jamie Lynn will become as notorious as Britney. It’s really not that much of a surprise. Lynne Spears is way too permissive of a parent. Remember that Britney and Justin moved in together while they were dating as teenagers, so even if Lynne wized up with JL, her message would have been lost.

I just really object to this fantasy that if you’re under the magical age of 18, you’re automatically a child who can’t possibly consent to sex unless your parter is also under the magical age of 18.
The law designates a certain age, and thats what matters. The thing is, did the sex happen in Louisiana or in California? Those states might have two different ages of consent. And about the only one who can press charges in this case, is JL’s parents, and you know that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Saying that somebody get pregnant by “accident” is the most annyoing, and ignorant statement to make. I really hate it when people say that. They might not have “meant” for it to happen, but when you have sex, you are taking more responsibilty than you ever want to think about, no matter what the outcome. Babies are not accidents. To some people they are the “I hope this doesn’t happen/but we used contraception” results of lovers who didn’t think it could happen to them (at least at that point in time). The nature of sex is to produce offspring, so calling the offspring an accident is just ridiculous.
