Whew! Thank God for Wayne Isham’s directorial talents! Based on this 31 second clip of Britney Spears’ new video for “Piece of Me”, it seems like at least this video won’t suck!
Mr. Isham directed her 2002 classic, “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,” back in the day, before the cheetos, the fraps, the stealing of lighters, bla bla bla, the insanity!
The preview clip, released by ABC, is from footage that will air on 20/20 Friday, Dec. 14 (10 P.M. ET).

The sad thing is that the only reason why Ruben hasn’t sucked Britney (besides the fact that he probably doesn’t want to in the first place), is that he hasn’t been anywhere near her. If he had, then the likelihood is that Britney would have licked him as she does every other male or willing female that gets close enough for her to wrap her legs around.

its sad that a “good video” standard is how clean Britney looks in it. She just looks like she showered, her eyes are totally vacant still, she still lacks a ton of confidence, and i have no faith in her dancing.
I think the song is juvenile….it should be sung by some teenager whining about people following her….not by a 26 year old that blows kisses at the paparazzi all night.

Lacking confidence should not be a thing to hate on, it developes from insecurities so it just shows how shallow people are when they pick on Britney for some of these things like being fat, ugly, low selfesteem, lacking confidence. I just saw the comment about you getting your new car and now I realize it is either age, or lack of self sufficiency that has you defending this dirty pig. It should look good, Jive payed top dollar for this video to make up for the fact that the first video, which seems to be entirely Brit’s idea, offended her fans so much. It’s very convenient that Brit suddenly developed an intense anxiety of the papz two days before her viodeo about them premiered. This girl sacrificed fighting for her children just to kick up controvercy to promote a sing which was preety much DOA. Are you listening, fantards? Your plastic idol gave KFed another reason to permanently take the children from her just to make you interested in this video. That’s what kind of a self seeking, selfish brat she is.
And all the little games Jive is playing, “OH make a vidoe for us,” “Oh, you can be on the cover,” “oh they’ll be fireworks and a premier on 20/20″ and this video is still just eeking it’s way up one musical chart, while falling off another, while failing to apprea on others. If she is so great, then why does she have to try so hard for such dismal results? It’s because anyone who cares about this song already ownes it on CD, and no one else cares to buy it or request it on the radio. It’s because the frenzy of expectation that catapulted Gimme Less to the top of the charts has dissapated once her fans saw that the released tracks were worse than the leaked tracks, and that their idol is too busy shopping and getting drunk to care about promoting this video. The highest this thing has gotten is what…#20. Not likely to get much higher.
Not to mention that this video was also supposed to make more people go out and buy her flop of an album which now sits at #51 on billboard. If she really deserved a #1 premiere, then she wouldn’t be sitting at #51 this week, certain to fall completly off the charts once Christmas is over.
Again, if Brit was anything other than a has-been, Jive wouldn’t have to try this hard. It would already have been a top ten hit.
