Angelina Jolie Calls Shiloh An Outcast

angieshiloh1.jpg

She told Look magazine:

She looks like Brad. It’s funny because she’s almost going to be the outcast in the family because she’s blonde and blue-eyed.

Angelina Jolie also stated that she felt no need to have a biological child, until she saw Brad with Zahara and Maddox after bringing her to the U.S. from Ethiopia. It was only then that she had a change of heart.

She said,

I saw Brad with her and Maddox, and I realized how much he loved them - and how a biological child would not in any way be a threat. I felt so much more for Madd, Zahara and Pax because they were survivors. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. But I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.

Sure the other children had a poverty stricken early childhood, but that doesn’t make Shiloh any less vulnerable to a cold and distant mother.

amen to that Kelly. She seems to have some lack of love towards her on biological child. Which seems strange to me. I feel sorry for Shiloh. It seems like Angelina is saying she has to force herself to love her daughter!

This is rehash of an interview she gave almost a year ago. At least she’s aware of her own biases.

I do find it kind of weird that she thinks her adopted children aren’t “privileged”. I’d be happy to have spent six months or so being “underprivileged” and then lead a life of unbelievable luxury from then on. Sounds okay to me!

it seems to me Angelina really made a statement, sounds like a menace “I’m not gonna love her” or something.
poor lovely Shiloh, so cute! hope she’ll get all the love she needs.

Having Angelina and Bradd for parents…poor Shiloh? What an irony, but of course, we’re not talking about that, are we?…;>

she makes me vomit - she is so p.c. that she’d ignore her own flesh and blood to make a point?

Witchy woman!

I really don’t like the way she talks about her own daughter! Imagine what poor Shiloh will think when she reads these things when she is older. She is going to think she was this huge burden on her own mother, who didn’t love her enough because she loved her adopted kids more. This kinda breaks my heart.

My heart goes out to Shiloh. She is so precious and perfect. (all babies are perfect but I think you get what I mean) I hope that Angelina realizes that how she treats her today will be Shiloh’s destiny. If she doesn’t start treating her life the same love she gives the others, she will grow to be like other celebuspaws that try to prove their worth by the media and fans with low self-esteem and bitterness. Hence, Tatum O’Neil. I hope Brad can show her the love, attention and affection that a toddler needs. Angelina should be ashamed of herself. When I look at pictures of her, I get the impression she is the type of person that will stop at nothing to get what she wants and then when she gets it, she tosses it aside and takes it for granted. I think that is how she treats Brad and Shiloh! She makes me sick.

i believe that what Angelina means by “privileged” is that Shiloh was not only born into financially privileged life but a racially privileged life as well. Just by being a white female she will receive different treatment, let alone her financial situation. The other children will be financially well off but will encounter discrimination and hardship dispite of it.

I am having an issue with the way she speaks about and acts toward her own child. No matter how children are brought into your family, they should all be treated the same. It is puzzling that she could speak of any child that way - knowing about the bond she had with her own mother. You would think that she would want that with her own children (all of them). I just hope that shiloh doesn’t resent her in the future.
