The Writer’s Strike Might End Today

strike.jpg

The Associated Press reports that the writers and studio executives are expected to meet for the second time in two days this morning. This whole strike is over the fact that the writers want to be compensated for DVD sales and work shown on the Internet.

This is great news! Hopefully this crap can get resolved today so that all shows can resume production and we can all be happy.

THIS is what this is over? DVD sales? OMG…are you kidding me? I didn’t care enough to look up specifics, but good Lord…this is ridiculous! Strike because you aren’t getting money from DVD sales?! So, that’s a whole, what, $1000 a year since those profits are split between so many….

They aren’t getting the money they so deserve. I would fight it too. They wrote the damn movie, give them the money! Right??
