So Alicia began looking through the good ol’ dictionary to find a new professional name. She originally like “wild” but her mom hated the name, saying that “it sounds like you’re a stripper.”
So Alicia decided on Keys, which suits her perfectly. Alicia said, “It’s like the piano keys. And it can open so many doors.”

This is a great article..i didn’t know that was her real surname..it’s so funny how the other night i was in a cafe and a lil boy of 7 said to my daughter that my daughter looks like alicia keys ( my daughter is only 8) it was when a video clip came out on the TV. how cute..my daughter is also bio-racial origin.
