avril lavigne is what you call a poseur. fake punk- the kind who hangs out in malls in her gear and thinks the coolest thing ever to is wander around the village dressed like that. her attitude is pure cojones, but that’s fake too. she’s about as threatening and real as one of the disney channel bad girls. and she yammers on about how she doesn’t have to show off her body like other singers, but does so at every opportunity. being the loudest and feeling defiant doesn’t make you talented, interesting, compelling or even worth a second look.
Wow….doesn’t write her own music?!?! They almost didn’t sign her cause she refused to have someone else write her first album.
Ok, so she did write her own music once upon a time…sucked then. Still sucks now. Maybe its the voice.
