Three pictures from the Ok! Magazine photoshoot where Britney Spears supposedly had a “complete and total meltdown during the interview” have leaked. Granted, the pictures that were chosen were probably the only ones that came out respectably normal since Ok! probably didn’t wanna deal with a lawsuit. The overly photoshoped photos look great, but that ain’t Brit Brit. Now if only the girl in the pictures wasn’t the Starbucks going, rat weave wearing, pantiless, greasy fast food momma we see everyday! Wouldn’t that be somethin’!

Exactly what is so negative about acknowledging that these photos “look great” (though heavily photoshopped) and wishing that the real Britney we see in photos every day was back to looking this good in real life? Heck, I wish she was back to looking good, taking better care of herself and her kids. The sad fact is that, hit album or not, she ISN’T, and she’s showing no signs of improving anytime soon. Why continue to pretend otherwise? Can you imagine what her sales would be if she cleaned herself up, quit partying, rediscovered her work ethic, and started demonstrably giving a damn about her kids a la Jennifer Garner and other celebrity moms (’sorry, but dragging them around in toy cars and real cars doesn’t qualify)? There’s no denying that with the version of herself she keeps putting in the public eye, she’s become her own worst enemy.
Kate, Do you believe that stuff OK was saying about her and how she acted during this photoshoot? Do you believe she wiped chicken grease on this dress….the one they state she is pictured in? Do you believe that she ran to the restroom like 10 times to do who knows what? Do you believe that she let her dog crap on one of the dresses? The person in that photo does not appear to me to have been like that….I thought they were completely lying about that interview….but based on how she has been acting…I really don’t know. Tell me what you think about that OK interview where these pics come from……
Honestly, based on what I’ve seen and heard about her through a wide variety of media outlets over the past year, I’d have to say yes. I do believe Brit is capable of the behavior described at the OK shoot (and I wish I didn’t - as I said in past posts, I was really rooting for her after the divorce). If she wiped grease on the dress, she probably did so after these photos were taken. Re: the dog, I ABSOLUTELY believe that one. Brit keeps showing in public that she can’t/won’t discipline herself, so reports that she doesn’t discipline/control her dog or her children are not surprising. That’s the thing about these photo shoots/artificially polished images - they create an icon of a person that doesn’t exist in real life. The Brit in the photos is the Brit we’d like to see and believe in, but unfortunately it’s nothing like the Brit we are presented with on a daily basis in more candid, public environments, when she’s choosing her own wardrobe and makeup and “being herself.” None of us know what she’s like in private. We only have her public behavior on which to base our praise or criticisms. From that perspective, Brit has done pretty much nothing to merit praise within the past few years. Whatever is currently positive in her life is largely the result of other people’s efforts. Her lousy VMA performance and refusal to work to promote her latest album reinforce this impression (like I said earlier, can you imagine how this album would burn up the charts if her image was clean and she was capable of performing at the top of her game? It’s #1 now, but I don’t think her sales are anywhere near what they COULD be if she cleaned up her act). It’s been a long, tragic fall from the beautiful pop princess she once was. I frankly believe that we may be seeing the “real Brit” for the first time. She’s gotten rid of all the people who used to be close to her, who looked out for her image and helped her create/maintain it, who made key business decisions for her in those early years of her career. Without that support network and left to her own questionable devices…well, the magic has gone, and almost every choice she makes leads her to sink even lower. There’s no denying that she’s alienated a LOT of fans (or folks who WOULD be fans if they didn’t keep seeing her in such unflattering public spectacles). She’s Cinderella in reverse, and it’s a real bummer.
Emma, I see your point. These aren’t damning photos! She looks good, but like I said before, the person who photoshopped the pics deserves an award.

Why dont you just stop posting Britney stuff on here. You sound ridiculious with your hateful comments about not just britney but a lot of beautiful female celebrities you like to bash because their either “wearing too much make up” “too thin” or “too fat”. Bottom line is Britney is a beautiful girl and you would be lucky to be half as beautiful as her. Why dont you post some pics of your self at your worst moments and we will let you know how nasty you look.
Honestly, Britney USED TO be beautiful. She could be beautiful again if she took better care of herself and was willing to accept honest assessments re: her makeup and fashion choices. To say that she currently looks “beautiful” with a perpetually ratty, greasy weave, a frequently bloated, blotchy complexion, artificially plumped lips, enormous sunglasses, boots that are so overworn they probably smell like a sheep dip, and clothing that’s frequently see-through and at least three sizes too small…well, I gotta tell ya, NOBODY with those stats is gonna look “beautiful.” We all know what Britney’s external beauty potential is - that’s why watching her in her current state is so very aggravating. Until she decides that what she’s currently doing isn’t working (and it’s taking her a darned long time to get a clue), she’s not going to come across as “beautiful” in public. Hence all the countless blog/media jokes at her expense.
Britney is still beautiful, sadly the stress of the past year has taken its toll on her. She just needs to get out of the spotlight for a while and rest and relax and just take better care of herself. And who the hell is this other KATE posting.. Find a new name honey like Ms. Spears herself there can only be one!!

This is what Britney would look like if she got glammed up everytime she went out of the house. All celebs photoshop, so i don’t see what the uproar is about. I like the one in the brown dress but the other two i don’t like.
Britney will NEVER look like these photos because she has 2 children and her body has changed. Go to breatheheavy and fantasize over all the old photos they have posted there because she doesn’t look like that anymore in real life and never will. How could Brit ever tour when her fans all refuse to accept her as she really is? In fact, her clothing choices suggest that she hasn’t accepted reality yet either.
That’s not true when she’s all done up she looks like her FABulous self as usual, we just aren’t used to seeing her in her everyday life, we’re use to seeing her work the red carpet and looking sexy in her videos!!
