Britney Spears‘ hit and run charges have just been dismissed. CelebTV.com reports that even though she won’t be prosecuted for the minor fender bender, her attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, says she still faces charges of driving without a license. He stated, “The driving without a license charge was not dismissed, the judge is asking [that] a misdemeanor plea be filed.“
He is hopeful, however, that after today’s ruling, things will turn out fine. He said,
Everything went well today, although it’s not absolutely perfect. Robard-Rifkin (the woman whose car Britney hit) has been compensated. She received her check earlier this week. She filed a formal document and requested the [hit-and-run] charges be dropped.
