CelebTV.com exclusively reports that Prince is being sued for over $1 million dollars.
A man looking for his 15 minutes of fame named Ian C. Lewis claims that Prince breached a contract by taking “several hard drives used for video production from him and not returning the equipment, valued at $12,000.”
Lewis claims he “demanded the immediate return of the above-mentioned property but defendants [Prince and his co.] failed and refused, and continue to fail and refuse, to return the property to plaintiff.”
He wants the price of the equipment PLUS $1 million in damages, claiming “the defendants’ acts alleged above were willful, wanton, [and] malicious.”
