Inquisitive Question

If a friend gives you a brand new car, but it’s a model that you absolutely hate, do you thank your friend and say you can’t accept the gift, or do you keep it because you’d hate to deny an act of kindness?

Good question. I would use the car for a period of 6 months - a year, and then sell it and buy the car i REALLY want. A year flies by! It’s better than having to come up with the total amount of the price of the car i want.

Poor Baby! I wish I had problems like that. Someone once gave me a hairbow for Christmas that I didn’t like, not only was it ugly, but I don’t even wear hairbows. No one has ever given me a car, I am still waiting for that one. I can’t imagine thinking it would be a dilemma though

Wow, you are harsh. Maybe she was just trying to provoke thoughts from the people who come here, ever think of that? I got a car for Christmas once, does that make you hate me? Because it seems like you are very angry just because maybe C got a car as a gift once. It happens all the time. Well, maybe not all the time, but a lot. My finacee got mine for such a good deal, he couldn’t pass it up.

if this person was a friend, then im pretty sure they would have known what type of car you liked. So there for when recieving it you would be happy cause its something they knew you wanted.. if not then you should still keep it cause its generally the thought that counts, and if is the car shown in the picture then who cares what the model is as long as its not a mini van or a Geo your good lol

I’d keep the thing, then trade it in for something I wanted….

Man… I would keep it. A car as a gift? Even if it’s the wrong model, it’s still a free car!

I would def keep it, out of kindness for the gesture. But, I would prob sell it after a year or so, and just tell the person who gave it to me that I got an offer I couldn’t refuse!
