It would have been better if it were a new photo, since this one was already used as a promo for the MTV Video Music Awards, and is also the same photo used for the cover of the “Gimme More” single.

The fact that they used an old photo worries me. Is she not in good shape enough to have a brand new photoshoot for her “comeback” album?

That’s honestly what I’m expecting, PW. They’ll probably throw in the lyrics and have that cover the inside of the booklet. Maybe have a plain black image on the back of the booklet. Might be wrong but that’s what I’m guessing.

Britney’s album covers have never been aazing, but one thing they have done, is always reflect where she is in her life at the time.
O.K. the release date is set, now is she going to get out there on the talk shows to promote her latest relaese? Most artist get out there to promote their new work and they get a new tour going, she can’t focus enough to get started on a tour. She has cancelled twice on back up dancers. My guess is when the release comes and goes, the record company will be done with her too. She has become too much a liability.
A multi-million dollar making liability. They’d never let Britney go, she brings in too much money. And would you go round doing loadsa interviews if you were Britney, all she’d do is dig a deeper hole, get slated abit more (if possible) and breakdown live on tv when they start asking her about her kids, n da breakdown and all that crap.
Like I said in the other post, she can’t promote it. She’s not willing to answer the questions any interviewers are gonna ask her. She’ll probably blow off any photoshoots they ask her to do. What’s left? I guess they’re going with all this tabloid garbage as being promotion for the cd. That seems to be the only thing left.
Thats the same photo from the VMA’s. She must be in too poor of shape to commit to a photo shoot. She cant commit to dance auditions nor a simple interview hell, she cant even make it to court on time to fight for her babies. She must be in really really bad shape.

i can’t believe they are releasing this hideous cover. i am a huge britney fan, and i am extremely disappointed. that’s probably the worst photo of britney i’ve ever seen. and, the colors and rainbows all over the cover aren’t appropriate for an album entitled “blackout”. it’s nonsense.

it’s the strangest thing in pop music history, this record company is putting out her new cd, while she is just running around all crazy. she probably doesn’t even know or care much about it. some pap asked her when her new cd is coming out, and she said, “I don’t know…christmas!” she might have been kidding but I wouldn’t be surprised if she simply is having not much to do with the whole thing, just really weird!
You know, it could be just a promotional image. Just because it’s on her website, and has the album name and a in store date, doesn’t make it the cover.
