Dave Chappelle is my hero. I seriously love this dude.
Doing a surprise set at the Comedy Cellar in West Village Saturday night, Dave made fun of all the rumors he’s heard about himself, especially the ones where people called him a crackhead. “I’m a skinny black dude, so I couldn’t defend myself!” he joked.
A member of the audience then suggested he read “The Secret” to “recover from blowing his $50 million deal with Comedy Central.”
Chappelle appropriate responded, “Positive imagery? That’s the secret? Go to Africa and tell some starving kids that [bleep]!”
Also in attendance making a few jokes of his own was the one and only master, Robin Williams.

I love this man too. I just wish I could see more of him. He was the BEST in “Half Baked”. And I would have been pretty pissed if someone heckled me like that. I miss you Dave!
