This is the ah, video she choreographed herself and had to shoot twice.

I just Watched ‘Gimmie More’ from Itunes so here’s my initial review”
I can honestly say she looks GOOD! REAL GOOD! Haters are gonna hate on, but seriously she aint looking bad. In the beginning I think we (the audience) get a glimpse of “old britney” Blonde hair, giggly and timid at the bar. Then enters, ugh, shall we say an “alternative” Brit. Tattoo’d, Raven Haired, Stipper Brit. Most of the video is this Britney, doing her thang. I believe there is an amout of effort shown, but for my standards I think she can bring better!
Now… I CAN be honest… she did the “choreography” herself and if you’re wanting “Slave” or even “Overprotected” it aint there. This just aint it. I’m tempted to not even use the word, but well I guess any movement put with 8 counts is considered such. But this, this is her, her hips and that pole! And she’s just rocking out to the song. It’s not a detailed video, but it fits the song. It visually different for her and basically it’s a new start.
Personally, I think we can only expect for her to get better and better! (professionally)
I CAN however say it’s a HUGE and I do mean HUGE step up from the VMA’s!!!!! She shows emotion and she’s laughing and into it. Whatever so called “breakdown” happen on that set is NOT visible at all! It’s very Britney, and you know what I mean if you followed her career over time. Cute smiles, hair tossing and butt bouncing and all the signature Brit like moves.
Overall I give this video a B -
Fans can criticize me for my honesty but I don’t care. This could have been better, it SHOULD have been better. (in my opinion)
BUT.
I honestly see she TRIED. There’s effort and she did this on her own. From an artist standpoint, I don’t think thats easy. And shit, it’s just not a bad video. I like it, I do. I just have a higher standard that I expect from her (professionally), but if you liked ‘Do Something’ and ‘My Perogative’ I think you’ll like it. It has that kinda feel.
Anyways, thats about all.

im one of the biggest fans this girl has and i’m sorry but i have to say that, its going to tank, i mean look at that song…do something. she directed and choreographed it herself and i can’t say it was good.
sorry honey…i love u to bits, but u need to remember that u cannot do this on ur own. let choreographers handle the dance moves, the directors to direct. and do what u do best…..it’s britney bitch!!!! by the way congrats on gimme more toppin the charts
As much as I love Britney — judging by the stills this video wont be appealing. Im actually SCARED to see it. Cause deep down I know it probably wont be good at all. I hope she proves us wrong…but sadly I dont think so. I think she should have done a re-shoot where she was blonde and covered up. That would have been killer.
I totally agree. Although I think the song is amazing, I believe she should have re-shot the video. Having said that, you can never be sure and we all just have to wait and see when the video premiers.
haha.. tiger, i love Do Something so much… britney looks darn sexy and pretty in there. Though there isnt much dance in it but she still own the video. its actually good that she wanted to try something new in her career, she cant forever only shoot a mv or sing a song from others producer. at least she gain experiences… but of course i cant say the same to her private life, in fact, she nids someone who cares abt her to help her. Hopefully britney will come out with another mv and make it 2version… haha..
Yeah, I kind of agree with some of you, but let’s not forget that this is Britney Spears we’re talking about, and this girl is full of surprises. I hope she proves us wrong though, because I seriously want it to be big, but I don’t know…

Yuck! That picture is sooooooo nasty! She looks really bad in the outfit and fishnets! It looks like it will be one scary video! I just can’t see this video doing very well, especially since she is dressed like she is. Doesn’t she realize this is 2007, not 1999, and women dress more apropriately, not like a two bit hooker! Yuck, yuck and……………….YUCK!

I think I heard that dancing part is only a part of the whole video. Supposedly it starts out at a funeral. She’s trying to find the real Britney and goes to diferent parts of a warehouse or something to find herself. From what a person described it who saw it, they said that it’s a good concept. It’s like she’s fighting to find herself, but never does.
Yes and it’s the same old BS Brit threw at her fans in the My Prerogative and Mona Lisa Videos. If she isn’t freaking suicidal then why does she continue to fantasize about part of her dying? If she doesn’t have an identity crisis then why does she keep showing her blonde self and her brunette self at odds with each other in her videos, and why can’t she freaking make up her mind what color her hair should be in real life.

FALSE , she didn’t shoot it twice , she shoot two video one for gimme more and an other for Piece of me who is the second single , the director of the gimme more video is jake nava ( shakira and beyoncé - beautifull liar or britney spears - my prerogative ) and the video have a story , she didn’t dance so much inside …
