After a three-hour court hearing today, Kevin Federline will keep custody of the kids and Britney will get “monitored visitation”. TMZ also states that both parties are due back in court for another hearing on October 26. Britney did not attend today’s hearing, but Kevin did.
Meanwhile, Britney’s new video for Gimme More is supposed to hit MTV’s airwaves sometime this week. Impeccable timing! But then again, in Britney Land, it’s never a good time.

I’ve seen the pictures of Sean and Jayden and their father, fighting so hard for them, had their nanny with them all day. How touching. The guy never works, how does he afford a nanny? Why would he need one? Lynne and Jamie Spears? Nowhere in sight. These three people are battling endlessly for the boys and not one of them is physically WITH them, despite open schedules (not one is employed). Does anyone actually WANT these children? As in spend time with them, take them to parks and pools, etc? Disgusting.
Let me get this straight. You have a problem with a nanny caring for the kids by taking them out for a walk? I’d rather see them pushed around in little tikes cars in the middle of the afternoon by a nanny, than driven around LA at midnight by their druggie mom. The kids are at Kevin’s home. He cares enough about them to FIGHT FOR THEM, to GO TO COURT TODAY to see that their best interest is ensured. Just because he wasn’t the one pushing the boys around yesterday doesn’t mean that he was not with them physically yesterday. I’d bet that he was. One thing for which you have to give him credit: he doesn’t use his kids for photo ops. He doesn’t drag them out into pap-infested areas, to their emotional peril. And if Britney’s money ensures that Kevin is able to be a father to his kids, instead of her being a mother to her kids, then more power to him. As long as he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s got my vote of confidence. What was Britney doing today, instead of going to court to fight for her boys? She was riding around LA, going from photo op to photo op. What’s she doing tonight? She’s holed up in a hotel, more than likely with a straw and some meth. Brittards say that she “changed” after she met Kevin, but they forget about her pre-Kevin erratic behavior. She got married in Las Vegas after a wild drunken, drugged out night with a boy from Kentwood. Remember the 55-hour marriage? Britney has some mental issues that she needs to be dealing with NOW. The kids are best off with their father. There’s just no sane way to argue otherwise.
Then you missed the point. I don’t think Britney should have them, but I don’t understand why anyone thinks that Kevin is a good parent, because compared to Britney, he looks good. If the papz can get to them when they’re with the nanny, then they can get to them when they’re with Kevin, which they never are, and their siblings either. NONE of these people seem to actually want those kids. NONE of them are ever seen with them. I feel sorry for the CHILDREN and not one of the adults.
Give me a break! KFed uses a nanny to help him out once in awhile. Britney uses them 24/7 so she can party, sleep and be a teenager again….and then when the kiddos naturally grow more attached t the nanny than her, she fires the nanny. Which is worse?
Britney is worse, obviously. I just think winning by default is crappy standards. I don’t think any of them truly want those little boys. Britney wanted them for the wrong reasons and now she’s realizing what being a mom means… and Kevin, Lynn and Jamie want their meal ticket intact. Britney’s supported them since she was ten; Kevin had nothing until she came along. I have seen pictures of Kevin in Vegas, with lots of girls, drinking… none with his sons. Any of his kids, for that matter. Jamie and Lynn? Nowhere to be found. The nanny will raise them, and, ironically, probably do the best job. Poor things.

his nanny was out w/ a walk w/ them, maybe he was at his lawyers office or in the shower. I hate to tell you but even though I was not a k-fed fan either, he has done nothing but present himself as a model parent. Now…brit, she went driving and to starbucks today. Do you know of(or could you imagine)any mother who kids had been taken away not going to court to at least TRY to demonstrate that she gave a shit??? Since she wasn’t “ordered” she didn’t go…..hmmm, sorry but there’s just no misunderstanding there, that looks terrible and it’s a damn shame. Every second she’s had those kids she’s been in front on x17 (who she obviously in is very “close” with) and they are constantly in the car, out to eat, etc. where she can get a photo. K-fed hasn’t done any of that. All anyone can do is just what you’re doing here and speculate b/c he has at least chosen to keep his mouth shut, his kids away from the cameras and his pants on…you be the judge!

i understand- the kids are marginally better with kevin. the two out of four that could support him, anyway. of course britney doesn’t listen to anyone- she has supported her family since grade school. they created a monster. i hope some good comes out of all this. but why couldn’t lynn or jamie watch them? they haven’t worked in years. and you employ a sitter, not a nanny, if you’re busy. kevin doesn’t work, so why the nanny? i just don’t think winning by default should be the standard. and, truthfully, the boys are better off with their nanny than anyone. it’s one of the few times i saw someone actually PLAYING with them. britney will hopefully get her head together- i’m kind of losing hope- but kevin is no saint. he just looks better compared to her. how sad.
At least K-fed does not parade them around the papz and scare the hell out of the little ones. Who knows where the best place is for them, but anything has to be better than with her. She is sick.

This is interesting turn of events. But not something she can’t bounce back from if she wants too. Swtiching physical custody isn’t a minor deal, but its also not as definate as people outside of the legal system think it is. It just takes one expensive lawyer and filing a petition and this battle is ongoing. Obviously B’s got more of the money, well all according to Mr. Zero Income, so if she wants to continue to fight this she can.
If she decides to focus on her music career, if she really is releasing a video (who knows cuz this blog is SO hit or miss with their info) it will be interesting to see how fans respond. Fans, “fantards” and the general public overall.
Anyways, what we do know is everyone is watching to see whats going to happen next.
And Britney was so thrilled by the news that she was granted supervised visits that she held her own impromtu parade, driving up and down the street in front of OK Magazine’s headquarters, well below the speed limit and preening, laughing and posing for photographs. She’s glad she lost custody of the children because it gave her another reason to see her face in the tabloids….which by the way, no one is buying anmore to read about her. Feel sorry for the sadistic pig if you want to, but don’t expect the rest of the world to lose any sleep over her.
I don’t feel sorry for Britney- I just don’t think that Kevin or her parents are saints. I feel sorry for exactly two people- those little boys, whom everyone is fighting over, but no one except their nanny actually seems to spend time with.
Whoever came up with the word “fantard” is 100% correct. I was totally on the bandwagon. I used to think Britney can do no wrong and she is the victim. I can now see after all these crazy stunts of hers that what Ruben, those editors who states she didn’t show up to interviews, Felicia, all the men she slept with and sold her to tabloids were RIGHT!!! I sat glued in front of the tv at the MTV awards hoping she would deliver, and yet I was almost in tears when it looked like she was about to fall out during the performance. I have gone to 6 concerts and have all of her albums and check her fansite at least twice a day. I was truly a FANTARD. I didn’t believe that this person people speak of so ugly about is her…..BUT IT IS….SHE SOLELY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSING HER CHILDREN. She can do like many others in Hollywood with children who stay in their homes and go to places where they know paparrazi are not there. Like Kevin is doing…..he is being very smart about all of this. He is NO SAINT, but someone is giving him good advice and he is taking it. She has surrounded herself with toxic people. She doesn’t even appreciate her fans and has yet to sit down with anyone about what is going on with her to maybe get some public support. I didn’t want to admit this to myself, but Britney has serious mental issues. Her own dad even said earlier this year that “Britney is a sick little girl and she needs help.” I thought Jaime was full of it and I was upset….but he was RIGHT…..she still doesn’t get it. There is no excuse for her not being in court. Even if you didn’t want to go, she should have been there. She has to know that it looks BAD to not be in court when anything is concerning your children. It’s as if she doesn’t really want them.
I want to apologize to all of the people on here that I got angry with for talking bad about Britney. I was truly a “fantard”….I have now lost all respect and I just want her to get help. I hope she gets her life together. I hope she gets mental help. I hope she gets her family back and her sons back. I hope she chooses to lay off the music career, because there are truly more important things in her life that she should focus on….. i wish her well.
I just Watched ‘Gimmie More’ from Itunes so here’s my initial review”
I can honestly say she looks GOOD! REAL GOOD! Haters are gonna hate on, but seriously she aint looking bad. In the beginning I think we (the audience) get a glimpse of “old britney” Blonde hair, giggly and timid at the bar. Then enters, ugh, shall we say an “alternative” Brit. Tattoo’d, Raven Haired, Stipper Brit. Most of the video is this Britney, doing her thang. I believe there is an amout of effort shown, but for my standards I think she can bring better!
Now… I CAN be honest… she did the “choreography” herself and if you’re wanting “Slave” or even “Overprotected” it aint there. This just aint it. I’m tempted to not even use the word, but well I guess any movement put with 8 counts is considered such. But this, this is her, her hips and that pole! And she’s just rocking out to the song. It’s not a detailed video, but it fits the song. It visually different for her and basically it’s a new start.
Personally, I think we can only expect for her to get better and better! (professionally)
I CAN however say it’s a HUGE and I do mean HUGE step up from the VMA’s!!!!! She shows emotion and she’s laughing and into it. Whatever so called “breakdown” happen on that set is NOT visible at all! It’s very Britney, and you know what I mean if you followed her career over time. Cute smiles, hair tossing and butt bouncing and all the signature Brit like moves.
Overall I give this video a B -
Fans can criticize me for my honesty but I don’t care. This could have been better, it SHOULD have been better. (in my opinion)
BUT.
I honestly see she TRIED. There’s effort and she did this on her own. From an artist standpoint, I don’t think thats easy. And shit, it’s just not a bad video. I like it, I do. I just have a higher standard that I expect from her (professionally), but if you liked ‘Do Something’ and ‘My Perogative’ I think you’ll like it. It has that kinda feel.
Anyways, thats about all.
