The glammed up look is just so unrealistic but Sex and the City is just a fantasy set in NYC. I think some of the outfits for this film are a big no,no. Not even in the shows do they wear outfits so...loud and bright in colors. It's too much. I think they are just over glamorizing an already glamorized show. I love the show but I'm afraid that the movie will be even less realistic. They are after all older and seemingly more mature with at least two of them playing mothers. I can understand Sarah Jessica Parker's character wearing outrageous outfits and Kim Cattrall's character wearing bright power suits but Miranda and Charlotte should be wearing more classic and simplistic outfits. I think Kristin Davis and SJP could definitely wear the natural look in the movie. They don't have to be dressed up in every scene.
