As far as I’m concerned, this is a tragedy, and Britney is entirely deserving of a little sympathy. Her biggest mistake is surrounding herself with vultures. It’s so obvious. A person with intellect and/or common sense wouldn’t dismiss the fact that A COURT OF LAW reviewed evidence of britney’s constant drug use and commanded her to bi-weekly drug tests, or see her out clubbing until dawn several times a week, or naked and drunk in a swimming pool and jacuzzi, and then say something along the lines of “she wasn’t drinking, a person can go to the clubs and not drink”.

I didn’t dismiss what the court said, your taking like five different incidents and running them together to make it appear my comment was directed at all that and you know it wasnt. The only comments I made regarding the court testing is it would be a GOOD thing. So how did I dismiss it? Then, yes I gave a hypothecial view that maybe she didn’t drink, thats not dismissing the incidents of the pool and other drunken nights, when those two SEPERATE nights occured, I voiced irratation and disgust over the WHOLE situation. Are you kidding? Respect, RESPECT how emotional she was, who give a shit. She gives her children NO respect, shows them NO concern, and she should be given respect, I don’t think so. The day she shows herself some dignity, can take her life and those little boys lives seriously, that’s the day she should be shown a little respect. About the charges: I read something about that. I bet she’ll pay a fine and that’s as far as that’ll go. It’s beyond me why she didn’t A.) Look at the other car and look at the damage on it B.) Go find the friggin owner of the car and talk to her about it. I can understand not leaving your info on top of a car like that. But she should’ve tried to track the woman down or waited for her to get back to her car.

And you can drive in state without that states driver’s license, say if I left PA to drive to NJ, I wouldn’t need and NJ license. BUT, she has CA plates on her car, which she would then need a CA driver’s license to purchase insurance there to insure her vehicle.

According to DMV records, she’s NEVER been issued a driver’s license by the state of California. THAT is certainly punishable.
Adam…she DOES live in California. Even if she originally got her license in Louisiana when she was younger, when she moved to Cali, she would have had to get a new license for that state. You have to have a valid one in the state where you reside. She doesn’t live in Louisiana, she lives in California.

Carolina, I’m really dissapointed. You said “I don’t think it’s that serious!”, she left the scene of an accident. It doesn’t matter how minor or serious the accident, she left the scene, which is totally against the law. I can understand there was scratches and minor damage, but she should have just left a note, SINCE THE WHOLE DARN THING WAS CAUGHT ON VIDEO! She would have gotten off a whole lot easier had she left a note, or went an gave her info to the lady in the store. If she would have left a note, maybe the cops wouldn’t have found out about her invalid license, and her insurance company would have paid for it, it would not have been surchargable, meaning her rates wouldn’t have gone up. She acted like a child, and now will be punished for her very, very, probably the most foolish mistake she’s made in a while. How can you say it wasn’t a big deal? Also, had she taken care of the situation like a normal sane person, accidentally scratching someone’s car versus the other possible worse things that can happen wouldn’t be a big deal, therefore not that serious…but Britney forgets common sense alot of the time.

I’m gonna back her up on one thing. If I were a celebrity I’d be wary about leaving notes with my personal info on it. Anybody could grab that up and post it on the internet and whatnot. Britney’s best bet would’ve been to stay by that car or go into different stores and explain the situation and see if she could find the owner of the car. She might’ve had to go into a lot of stores but it would’ve been worth it as long as she could get the situation straightened out.
