It is very possible that by 8:30 a.m., Britney Spears might lose her kids. Kevin Federline’s attorney, Gloria Allred, is bringing a “secret” witness to court Monday morning for the custody battle between Brit and Kevin.
Allred filed a “signed declaration from the witness” last week of a man who apparently has had close observation how Britney behaves with her kids, and witnessed drug usage by Spears in her home and in front of her kids.
If proved to be true, Britney will most likely have to forsake custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Allred told Fox News,

This is so ridiculous. You cannot have a “surprise” witness in a courtcase. Is this fantasy court? Is this court CONTROLLED by the media? Please, for god’s sake, you’ve only posted this because Perez Hilton did, and he’s been slated for taking it from FOX (who are always iconic beacons of truth, aren’t they?). When are people going to use common sense in this? If this man had such damaging information about her using drugs in front of her children, why did he not disclose it to the CPS when they were doing their forced investigation of her? Kevin would have gotten custody that way, AND given Britney much worse publicity. (An investigation with results, I might add, concluding that any allegations against her were unfounded).

How many other celebs have nannies and don’t work? Having a nanny in a celebrity household is nothing new. Doesn’t make those mothers AND fathers (since some of them are still married) a bad parent.
And I’ll say it again…if they can’t hack it by themselves, they shouldn’t have had kids. I’ve said it about many people before, believe it or not. It’s one thing when you’re on set 20 hours a day…or you’re on tour and doing promotions…it’s a completely DIFFERENT thing when you’re on a break, between movies or tours… And it’s one thing to have a babysitter that ACTS as a nanny for a couple of hours. But it’s absolutely disgusting that some of these people hire people to raise their kids FOR them. I can’t stand that…from anyone…and I’ve said it for many many years now. Nannies and babysitters are completely different things.

Somebody who’s had several celebrities in their family and has grown up with exposure to that world learns to tell JUST HOW MUCH WORSE IT IS IN PERSON AND HOW LITTLE THE PAPARAZZI SEES COMPARED TO WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON, even with a person who lives in front of the paps like britney used to.
While they currently have joint custody, Kevin is the primary custodial parent and pretty much controls them. The days of women automatically getting custody are over. The only question now is how much visitation she will get. Kevin has all the grandparents on his side. Brit can’t clean up her life and is in a downward spiral. All her friends and long-time employees have abandoned her. She is estrange from her family. Doesn’t look good for her but is looking better for the kids.

I’m not sure you can have a surprise witness in a custody battle, but if it were my daughter, I would be there to tell the judge neither of the parents need to be in charge of these two young lives and recommend they give temporary custody to a resposnsible family member. Unfortunatly the only responsible family member is Britney’s little sister. I wouldn’t want her to loose her children, but I wouldn’t want anything to happen to them due to neglect.

The surprise witness may be a surprise to us but not to the court. He has suppposedly already filled out a deposition that the judge has read and accepted. He’s only suppose to be going to court in case they want to question him. I personally think that the only way Britney will get the help she desperately needs is if they do take those kids from her. Otherwise she will end up like Anna Nicole.
This whole situation is so sad… Britney always blames someone else for her problems: The press, her parents, her lovers, her manager… and she has always denied she has a drug or alcohol problem. For a person who insist of ignoring her faults and the consecuences of her actions, who also lives detached from reality, must be terrible to be in a room where the cold facts and intimate details of her personal life are put on display for the whole world to see… And worst of all, her behavour may cost her those two beautiful boys. I just really want to know and here is why I am interested: Last week (9-11-07)there was a bomb threat on my base here in Germany. As I drove through the gate I remember seeing the polizei and the news cameras and stuff. What was reported on CNN was exactly what was reported to us through a USAFE memo email. One detail was left out of CNN (and I can’t say what it was) but it was left out for a good reason. So, my point is that I have had my intimate share of what a reliable source is, and CNN was right on point with its military issues. What are your reliable sources?

I think it says something about Britney that even fans are concerned that losing custody will send Britney off the deep end. If even fans believe that she is so mentally and emotionally fragile that she would choose to kill herself rather than straighten up and fly right for her kids’ sake then maybe the kids shouldn’t be in her care right now. If she would choose suicide over trying to improve her parenting and decision making skills then maybe she is unable to emotionally provide for those kids right now.

Britney losing primary custody does not mean she will completely lose all her parental rights and that the boys will be taken away so that she will never, ever get to see them ever again. Even when she was in the rehab facility, Kevin took the boys to see her. This can be all temporary and contrary to popular opinion, it is all up to Britney how this can all turn out. Committing to make better and wiser decisions in her life costs way less than trying pay Kevin millions of dollars to end the custody battle.
If she could start making wiser choices and do GOOD by herself, her boys, and the rest of the world, she could gain public support. But the fact that she’s making a sleeze like Kevin Federline look like a golden child in comparison speaks VOLUMES right now. To me, she’s not showing that she even WANTS her kids…it’s like she just doesn’t care. She doesn’t care enough to change her ways and clean up her act…
Though she brought all this on herself, I feel bad for her. She really may have a breakdown, kill herself, or who knows what if she loses her kids. She may just end up like Anna. I hope she finishes this custody trial, and goes away for a long time, she needs to just disapear for awhile, and get some help. I am really sick of hearing about it, and I wish it would stop. She is in a very bad place in her life, and the media fuels it even more. I know, she calls the paps, she loves the attention, but what if we stopped caring? What if the media just didn’t show, or care? She would probably go away, and get better, and leave us alone for a while! Please, Britney, go away and get some help girl, I am so sick of you!

And hopefully, as she’s going away, she’ll hear that Wal-Mart has a sale on panties and she’ll buy a couple pairs. Nothing too fancy at first, maybe a pair of Underoos, or something with some teddy bears or rainbows on them or something like that…she doesn’t need to go overboard on her first pair, but something to get her used to them, like training wheels on a bike…………..

Reading, its an old bodyguard who was fired after her stint in rehab. So if you want to, you gotta look at who was constantly in her life and then gone after she came home. Damien was still around so I can’t see it being him. BUT I guess he said that Britney hired a hitman (said this during court, other sites are reporting) out on KFed. Sounds completely bogus if you ask me. Yes you took an oath to tell the truth but come on, they have NO way of proving that you did/are. Maybe I’ve watched too much CSI but I can’t see that.
I feel bad for her personally. I think that she needs to surround herself with peope who will be honest and tell her shes a train wreck right now. And personally, I think that is why she’s not talking to her mother and father anymore. Because they WERE honest with her. But I also think instead of sites completely picking her apart, flashing everything they can about her on their sites, isn’t helping any. It’s like kicking a dog when it’s already down. :(
Maybe, just maybe, she should stop doing embarrassing and questionable things and take control of her life.
I wholeheartedly agree. But normally when people act like that, it’s not because of “trashiness”. It’s a cry for help. BUT you can’t help the unwilling. Only SHE can finally come to the realization that there is a problem and she needs to stop what shes going and get her life back. Until then, nothing will change.

I wanted to add, other sites are reporting its her old bodyguard Tony. I guess he was fired by Britney.
The guy that is the “secret” witness is called Tony Garreto(something like that) and he is Britney old bodyguard. Some outlets are claiming the she fired him because he was incompetent, slow and lacked conentration. However the lawyer 4 Kfed claims he was fired because he didn’t hear her telling him to pick up a bag.
A secret witness, HA! He should have been kept a secret then (and that’s a pretty HUGE secret lol). Kfeds att. used the “secret” thing as a gimick to build up hype and so people will be more willing to believe what he has to say. If he was a credible witness and acted like any other witness, he wouldn’t have been so highly publicised. She is just trying to generate a common belief in his allegations.
