Everything in our business is about beats and I think she really wants to sing, and country music still believes in that. She’s a singer from top to bottom, and everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left.
On whether she will be accepted among country fans, he said, “She’s from Texas. How could she not?”

Hmm, not a country fan, not a Jessica fan, but I would acutally like to hear this. I hope she actually goes through with it, it might actually set off.
I’m not a fan of country at all either. But yes this could work for Jessica. I wish her luck.
I don’t see country accepting her at ALL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE country music, wanted to be a country singer pretty much most of my life (be “Garth Brooks in a skirt…”) I just don’t EVER see this working for her.
Her career is OVER. The only reason why she’s still in the magazines and gossip blogs are because of her fat BREASTS. That’s the only thing that will ever keep the paparazzi wanting to take photos of this has-been. She can’t act. All of her movies are dumb. Her last album was a bomb. Her latest film will probably go straight to DVD. Even Britney who is a complete trainwreck put out “Gimme More” which is better than any single Jessica has ever released during her career. Her face is fug and the only thing that keeps guys coming back for more are her BREASTS. That’s it!
Her career is sooooooo O-V-E-R! It really didn’t even last very long.

I think Jessica had some really great songs written for her, especially on her last album but she needs to do something about her singing. She used to sound good, what the hell happened after marrying Nick? She should stop trying to sound like a baby.
Country music could suit her but she needs to work a lot.
She can only go up from that last hot mess she produced. And yes, country would work for her. She should try to retain a pop influence though. Otherwise it might look as if she’s trying country because pop didn’t work out too well.
It’s a possibility for her. She’s made connections with Willie Nelson whisch definitely could help her out in getting introduced to the big wigs. I think if she spent time working the Nashville crowd and teaming up with some of their local songwriters that she would give herself some credibility. But, if she wants her career to survive she has to lay low and stay out of the LA party circuit. I hope she makes it:)
