Mariah Carey’s ex-manager Jerry Blair, who also served as president of her MonarC Entertainment, claims the diva has refused to fork over major money she owes him, sources tell Rush&Molloy.
Blair contends that, under their agreement, Carey still owes him a cut of her record and tour profits, according to sources.”She hasn’t paid him in two years,” says an insider. “He had to call in lawyers.”
Blair and his attorney declined to comment. Carey’s lawyer and publicist didn’t immediately return messages.

Sources huh. You mean his people who leaked it? Uh…Ok. Benny Medina has been her manager for over two years now. You mean to tell me that it took this moron this long to try a collect his money? Yeah right! If he has something in writing, there is no issue and certainly didn’t garner being tacky and taking it to a gossip section in the NYDN. Otherwise, hit the bricks dipstick. He’s a little late trying to fatten his wallet now. It shouldn’t have taken him that long.

If there was a written contract between Mariah Carey and her (Mariah’s) manager, Mariah Carey must honor the legal parts of the contract. Not all contracts are legal; however, only the legal parts or legal contracts can hold-up in court. Contracts can be verbal and sometimes hold-up in court. Verbal contracts need significant evidence to prove in a court of law. It is always good to have everything in writing. Mariah Carey should just pay the money, if there is a written legal and binding contrct amonst the parties.
