Not only that, but about 35%-40% of an artist’s gross income usually goes to managers, lawyers and accountants.

It is absolutely possible that Brit makes 7 million a year. Worldwide royalties from all her CD’s is small compared to the perfume licencing deal. Her perfumes have sold 100 million dollars worth in just a few years. She has 5 different perfumes, do the math. 750k a month is small change compared to a top selling music star like Carrie Underwood who made 25 million for selling 10 million CD’s

I have no idea what she still makes from cd sales. But I do know this. She’s said to be worth about 100 million. 4 percent interest on that a year would bring in 4 million roughly. 8% would bring in 8 million a year. Plus she has properties that appreciate every year. Real estate does do that.
While I’m not rich, I am able to bring myself about 8% a year from some investments I have on my savings account. It would be no big deal for her to hire someone to help her invest her money. I’d bet that even though she makes some dumb choices that she probably does have her money invested in one form or another. That said, even if she does make less off her music sales, she’s probably still making loads of money. And if she does make that much on her music, then it’s that much more that she makes.

Hi There… David from France. Guys, your fight about what Britney earns or does not earn is very funny. In france, most people don’t really care about this as we know anyway that she is not a poor woman. Thinking about it, I can easily believe that she does make this money if not more…before tax at least. I read a magazine specialised in economy a few weeks ago and the whole article was about the business of perfume. They were saying that the Britney range was in the top 5 best biggest success of the last 10 years. It seems to be huge for 2 main reasons: it’s quite cheap AND it seems the perfumes are really nice so even middle age women now started to buy it not because of Britney, but because of price + quality. I cannot say myself really but well..
On the other side, I really have the impression that Britney is not going well. And to be honnest, I can understand it. It took me 2 years to forget about a 1 year relationship with no kids and without the feeling to have been used and not even loved and lied. So I cannot imagine how I would feel if it was a 2 years relationship, with 2 children, and with someone who might not even have loved me, or who might have been with me just for my money. This can destroy a life. Entirely.
Children: one of my best friend is a single mum. Only 1 child. She loves her daughter. But she is only 26, and how many times does she end up crying about being young and single and not being able to go out and date and be less attractive to men her age because she is a mum.. How scared she is of ending up alone and depressed. She loves her child, but she leaves her more and more with her mum, because she wants to try to have a normal life and it’s just difficult. So again, I would not imagine how it must be for a 24yo (is Britney 24??) with now 2 kids and an ex husband trying to fight against you each time it’s possible, on every subject..
What I wanan say is that I have no idea if Britney is a good mum or not. She may just be an average mum, in a very depressed situation.. and this happens all the time in the whole world. It’s correct that having money is not gonna bring happyness to those children. But at least they must have full time nannies.. so I am sure their dental hydiene or whatsoever is ok. This seems ridiculous to me, and I agree that this must clearly be bullshit. But they may not see their mum very often, they may not have all teh love they should get… This is possible. There is no perfect mum, and when I was a child, I was not even sitting in a baby sit in the car and my Mum was not a bad Mum.
On my side, not a fan of Britney, even if I think she seems to be someone special. I was curious of her new music as she has just launched a new single. First time I heard it I hated it.. but after a few times, I cannot get it out of my head, it’s crasy. Do you people even know what “Net Worth” means? There is no way to make interest off of your entire net worth. Net worth includes equity in properties, cars, jewelry, etc. Anything of value that you own outright. It is definitely possible that she grosses $700k as many people stated. But, it wouldn’t be from interest on her net worth. It’s not like she has $150 mil in the bank or in liquid investments. And in this day an age, it’s also most likely that she would actually lose some money on some of her investments, like stocks or real estate for example. But, you can guarantee if Kevin’s laywers state that she makes $750k per month, then she most likely actually makes something less than that. Any good divorce attorney is going to inflate the amount to the highest possible number based on all past earnings. A forensic accounting would have to be done to arrive at an actual figure.
