We live in a
perfection-obsessed society, and the Entertainment Business undoubtedly heightens the pressure to look “perfect” (whatever that is)…So it’s nice to be reminded that even our favorite celebs that
glamorously glow on the red carpet can still take
AWFUL pictures.Case in point:
Keira Knightley at the
“Atonement” premiere at the 64th Venice Film Festival.
You can go an feel beautiful and photogenic now :)
That’s a really shitty comment to make-it’s bad enough that men diss our looks but I would have expected more from a female (especially one who has probably had her fair share of horrible remarks about her appearance in the past…) I think Keira looks great. Nothing can be accomplished by putting people down because of their looks, celebrities or otherwise-all it does is promote bitchiness and insecurity. There’s an arrogant rather than a jovial (perez) perspective on this site and it sucks.
You totally missed the point. I was merely pointing out that this unrealistic ideal that regular girls try to live up to of perfection is a flawed concept since even gorgeous stars don’t always look “perfect”.
Thanks for the opinion, anyway! *-*

i would say that you give the impression of insulting females because you talk a lot about female stars’ appearances and it’s usually negative.
She has nice eyebrows and lips.
heeheehee…
that’s what you call a bad angle & bad moment shot.
yet she is still gorgeous.
The funny thing is, she still looks beautiful in the “ugly” pic! I love her!
Um, no, hun, YOU totally missed the point. She’s making a goofy face in TWO of the eight pictures posted, and all of a sudden she’s flawed, and an obtainable standard? She is still drastically underweight, made up by a team of professionals, and wearing a designer dress. I’m pretty sure that a facial expression isn’t generally what effects little girls. It’s her collar bones jutting out.
That comment is just SO wrong on SO many levels.
