I just got off the phone with Larry Rudolph, and I spoke to him for about 15 minutes about everything that is going on. For those of you who don’t know, Larry and I are good friends and we’ve stayed in touch even after I left World of Britney.com. He has issued this statement through That Other Blog following the news that he’s being sought after by K-Fed’s lawyers to be subpoenaed:
Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she’s coming from and why she’s said the things she said about me post rehab and I don’t take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she’s going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I’m trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She’s going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best.

If he’s loyal to Brit why can’t be come forward and DEFEND her?
If he understands her, why did he force her into rehab when she allegedly wasn’t ON any drugs instead of get her counseling/medication she needed for her post partum depression?
If he doesn’t take it personally then why did YOU, as a “such a close personal friend” FLIP on her out of so called loyalty to him and go from being more up her ass then X17 to being THE OFFICIAL BRIT HATER site (excluding Perez cuz he’s fukked outta his/her mind) on the internet???

Why can’t he defend her? Because maybe he does not agree with the things she’s doing, duh…. which explains why he’s in hiding, so he will not be called to testify under oath about her lifestyle/parenting skills.
You cannot lie in Court and maybe he knows damaging things about Britney. And if not, why would being called to Court be such a big deal?

Sure, people may lie in court, but how often succesfully? With Kevin’s lawyer and possible jail time for perjury, I wouldn’t do it… not even for Britney Spears.

Its certainly is a life or death thing. If he lies under oath, he goes to jail. And being that he’s being public about knowing things that are damaging, if he goes up there and is positive about her, they’ll know he’s lying.
What’s more horrible is the fact that he’s choosing “being loyal to Britney” over the safety of her children. He obviously knows somethings amiss there. So if anything bad ever happens to her kids, he should be held partially accountable.

On E! news last night, Ryan said Larry doesn’t want to say anything because it will not be good for Brit, and he is very loyal too her. Oy!
he must be loyal to her for some reason and i’d like to think or hope it’s because he respects her as an artist and loves her as a person. he must’ve thought he was doing the right thing for her; at least i hope so. it sounds like a sincere statement and if he has that much feeling for her, then i hope she hears it and rehires him as her manager. still, there wasn’t much detail to it. if nothing’s wrong with her parenting, he shouldn’t worry too much. besides, he is allowed to plead the fifth on stand. it would just be nice to think that it’s all a huge fight and will blow over and britney will get her famiy and extended family back.
it’s a long shot, but it would be nice to think he’d be a good mate for her and a good stepfather and a stabilizing influence. hell, it works for celine dion and her husband is a senior citizen.

Rudolph is fully aware that he’ll have NO choice but to reveal the “dirt” on Spears if he’s subpoenaed, ending his career as a manager.

Larry R, eh? Big whoop. Isn’t this the guy that encouraged the ruination of Britney’s voice? You don’t have to go far on youtube to find footage of a time when this girl could sing. But she’s been used and abused and spat out, I swear to God, what a waste and why can’t anyone take her out of all the sleaze and slime and corruption around her and which seems to have seeped into her, get her away from all that to live in the middle of nowhere, in the outdoors, shooting some hoops, working out, living a real life, working a real job, eating good food, so she can clean herself up? Is it just me, or does she look happier in earlier videos bouncing around like a gymnast than in the sexed up videos? Some manager, some parents, some support system, “sure! go whore yourself up! it’ll make us rich!” Was she such a monster early on that no one wanted to protect her from that…sheesh…what a waste.
And anyway, that whole public image of Britney is just that…my bet is Britey just had it with image rather than being allowed to be herself and all this stuff going on is her giving a big F-you to the machine, the media, the paps, music biz, the marketing, the hiding of her true self, the spin, the lying, the crap that goes on. While not the way I myself would go about giving my f-you to the same (I think it IS sleazy and corrupt and vile), I kind of have to laugh every time she does something that freaks people out because it’s like she’s one of the few not buying into that whole packaged and marketed and unreal image. she’s killing her career (most likely) at the same time, but it’s still funny. I’d rather support someone who holds up the dirty undershorts of the pop music biz than someone who sells out and buys into the whole image thing. It is funny. People are mad at her because she doesn’t conform to the image of what she’s supposed to be like. I like non-conformists. I wish she’d take better care of her kids, and take off the damn wigs and be a REAL non-conformists, and do some serious punk rock or something, but you know, baby steps…

and, imo, the answer to the question of what happened to a person when there is such a drastic change in appearance, behaviour, attitude, between then and now…has to do with illness, not intellectual capacity or lack thereof and drugs/alcohol. YEAH she’s doing seriously dumb things, etc,. etc., but my view is there is some serious illness because of things going on, and she needs help that’s not forthcoming, apparently. It doesn’t help when you don’t have much to begin with, but still, lots of dumb people aroud…she’s got other probs.
I don’t envy Larry one bit. I’m sure he used to think the old Britney was a good kid and all that and I’m willing to bet this is gonna be one of the hardest things he’ll have to do on a professional level. Ditto with anybody else close to Britney that was actually there for her. I know I’d feel like shit if I had to testify against someone if I cared about them or used to care about them. In the long run it’s about the kids now. The kids need to be thought about–for better or for worse. Doesn’t matter if Britney gets pissed, cuts more people out of her life, etc. The kids need to live in a healthy environment and be happy. I know I’ve got a whole “SAVE THE CHILDREN, YALL!” vibe going on in this post. But c’mon the kids are only gonna be kids once. If their childhood is fucked up it’s not like they can seriously go back in time (ha, HUH?) and make their childhood better. I have no doubts that as long as Britney’s rich the kids will always have the best and biggest and most expensive toys in the world. But expensive toys can’t bring you happiness. I honestly would think it’d be a shame if boy of the boys ended up on a shrinks couch when they’re 15 and they’re talking about having a miserable life.
